Positive Daily Inspiration – July 7, 2022 – The Concept of Time Tithing

“The father who dwells in me does his works … I am in the father and the father in me.”
John 14:10, 11

Today, what I will teach you could change your life. It’s so simple, (as most profound things are), but when practiced, it can renew your life.

At times the burdens of life can seem overwhelming. You may ask yourself how you can ever find the energy to meet the demand. There may be so much to do that you do not know where to begin.

If you find yourself in such a situation, remember Jesus’ words, “The Father who dwells in me does His works.” In the quietness of prayer, we receive strength and the confident assurance that the responsibility is not ours personally. Jesus said we are all children of God. The Father who dwells with us does His works.

A human being can be like the Energizer bunny running on bad batteries. Soon the drumming stops and life slows to a halt. The human being has completed and exhausted its energy reserve. This has happened to me many times, and it has happened to you. When this happens, I call upon God and God’s reservoir of pure God power. God infuses me with new life and energy. I am no longer working or thinking by myself.

The activity of God works through us and enables us to accomplish whatever we need to do, easily and without stress and strain.

I urge you to intersperse the activities of this day with quiet moments of prayer. When you do this, you will draw upon God’s reservoir of wisdom and power. You will become refreshed and renewed. You will be guided in handling all of the issues of your life in an orderly and relaxed manner.

On days when I need God’s help and energy, I make it a practice to Time Tithe. A tithe is a tenth. I give a tenth of my time back to God – six minutes out of every hour. The circulation of God energy coming to me and through me is miraculous.

At the beginning of the next hour give six minutes back to God. You do not even need to close your eyes, just pray, silently talk to God as you would your friend.

This spiritual energy will build; it will be accumulative during this day.

You will find that you have a reservoir of power to meet the needs of the day and beyond.

You will be surprised at how much strength and energy this gives you in your mind, in your body, and in your soul.

I invite you to try this now for the next 6 minutes.

I am an active participant in prayer today.
I give back 10% of my waking time to God.
I agree to give 6 minutes back to God, at the start of every hour that I am awake this day.

IT will be done!
