Positive Daily Inspiration - October 13, 2022 - THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST
“Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father.”
Colossians 3:17
Positive Christianity always prays in the name of Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God, His Father, and our Father.
Today, you cherish the knowledge that you can say and do everything, in the nature of Jesus Christ. When we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, it means we do this in the “nature” of Jesus Christ. We follow what He said to do. We ask ourselves in all situations, “What would Jesus do?” We give thanks to God, and we do what we are guided to do, following Jesus in word and in action.
We can do great things, greater things than our limited human mind believes. Jesus constantly reminded us that we could do great things. We must not stop ourselves or think less of ourselves than He did.
When we focus our attention and our faith on the power of God with us, we are Divinely guided in ways of wisdom and plenty; we are inspired with constructive ideas and a deeper appreciation of life’s values. We become aware of the ever-present protection of God.
As we seek to understand the truth as taught by Jesus Christ, our life is blessed and we feel the joy of God’s presence ever with us, just as Jesus did.
There may be times when our life appears to be in a state of disorder and confusion. We wonder how we can set things right, how we can change the picture.
This is a good time to decree, in prayer, in the name of Jesus Christ, to give thanks for the answer, and to see it as already established. We can thank God in advance. Everything is in Divine order in the spiritual realm. Everything is in Divine order in God’s sight.
God works through us to bless us with the wisdom, the insight, the ability, and the willingness to activate new blessings in our lives and in the circumstances of our lives.
When we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, even in the face of confusion or indecision, we are helped, immediately, to rise out of such states of mind and take on the nature of the Christ. In tune with God, in tune with God’s Divine order, we see our way, clearly, and act, confidently and lovingly, so the conditions around us are improved and life is made happier.
The name “Jesus Christ” charges our prayer with the power and energy that is above humankind. It calls on the help of the living Jesus Christ in the spiritual realms beyond the mind sight of the average human. It takes your human power and belief and magnifies and multiplies it to a place where prayer makes a major difference, immediately. Our thoughts are changed and our actions are uplifted. We follow Jesus Christ by taking on His nature.
POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:
I actively call on Jesus Christ for help.
I believe, and I pray God will help me in areas where I do not believe.
Help me to take away all doubt.
Help me to take away all fear.
I choose to live by my faith.
I choose to act on my belief.
I pray that I can become a better person.
