May today there be peace within
May you trust your highest power that you are exactly where you are meant to be …
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you …
May you be content knowing you are a child of God …
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, It is there for each and every one of you …

On several occasions, Jesus went aside or took His Apostles aside from the crowds for a time of quiet, rest, and prayer. Away from the noise and the confusion, they could truly abide in the peace and quiet of God’s presence.

On this day, in between yesterday and tomorrow, you too can take time for quiet, rest, and prayer. Today you can journey aside and practice the silence of prayer. Abiding in the peace and quiet of God’s presence, you unfold spiritually. You commune with God in the silence of prayer and you are refreshed, renewed, strengthened, and encouraged directly from God. I encourage you to turn within for communion with God, the source of your life and the source of your renewing power.

Nothing in the outer world has power to disturb you as you take time each day in May to abide for a few moments in the stillness of God’s presence. As you abide in God’s presence, you gain a sense of mastery over your life and a greater peace of mind.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

Dear God, as I turn to You in prayer, I pray that nothing can disturb the calm peace of my soul.
I come to You for an infilling of God’s calm.
Help me to find quiet, rest, and renewal through prayer.
I relax and I let go.
I release concern for myself, my friends, my loved ones, and my co-workers to You my dear God.
God, I realize that You know what is best for me and for those that I hold dear.
I willingly release my thoughts of what I, or others, should, or should not, do.
I pray that I unfold spiritually.
I agree to keep my attention focused on You.
I trust You, dear God, to care for me and for those whom I love.
I release all concerns and I feel God’s calm as I rest in the quiet and receive direct renewal.

In Jesus Christ’s name … Amen
