Name: Raquel - Date: July 2nd, 2022

Prayer Request: Please send healing energies to Raquel Eisen for greater physical energy, healing her kidneys and memory. At 90 years old she lies down and or sleeps much of the day. Sometimes she forgets she is home. Today she forgot how to eat and swallow. I think it is related to how little water she drinks leading to dehydration.

Thank you and God bless you,Leonard

Positive Daily Inspiration – July 1, 2022 – PLENTIFUL SUPPLY PROVIDED BY GOD

Positive Daily Inspiration - July 1, 2022 - PLENTIFUL SUPPLY PROVIDED BY GOD

“Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap.”
Luke 6:38

NEW Videos – see below.

You are assured of plenty.

A plenteous supply of good is always waiting for you, prepared for you by God. You have free will to accept or reject this good. As you look to God as your source of supply, you hold to the realization that Divine good flows through you to meet your every need.

You think thoughts of plenty.

Meditate in your prayer time on the word “plenty” for 10 minutes at the beginning of every day this next 7 days.

You will be charging your thoughts with an energy of God’s all-sufficiency. Think thoughts of plenty and of overflowing good coming to you from God. Direct your faith to a positive expectancy of good, and faith opens the windows of plenty in your world.

You open your mind, your hands, and the conditions of your life to receive the bounty that God has for you. You keep attuned to rich ideas, and you become aware of new avenues of good. New and more productive ways of thinking and acting are revealed to you from God.

You have a conscious communion with Jesus Christ leading the way to your good. You share freely of the ideas, energy, and financial good that you received from God, your source. You give generously of the rich treasure of blessings that God bestows on you, and you are continuously blessed and prospered.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

Say today in your prayer time aloud, “New channels of supply open before me, and I am bountifully blessed by God. A bountiful existence is my inheritance as God’s child. I now claim my supply.”

Saying this prayer aloud can do significant things for you. It can take your thought away from your needs and problems and center you in the broader realization of God’s prosperity – a bountiful existence for your every need.

A bountiful existence certainly includes enough supply to meet every need.

It also includes the faith to know that these needs will be taken care of. It includes friendship and companionship. It includes a new sense of appreciation for God’s world, a new respect for life and for our part in the overall plan of good. It includes fulfilling and perfect employment. It includes Divine order in all the conditions of our life. Most of all, it includes health, happiness, and joy in our everyday living.

With every thought, word, and action, you claim your inheritance to bountiful supply. Because you are the child of God, supply in every form is yours now.

“Come, O blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”
Matthew 25:34

In Jesus Christ’s name … Amen

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: God IS my source; God meets my every need.

POSITIVE DAILY QUOTE: “The planet does not need more successful people. But it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of every kind.” The Dalai Lama

Positive Daily Inspiration – June 30, 2022 – IN THE FLOW

Positive Daily Inspiration - June 30, 2022 - IN THE FLOW

“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalms 46:10

I was looking over one of my writings from many years ago and I was reminded of a wonderful day in my life. Under the perfect blue sky of Texas, and in the perfect temperature of the morning hours, I took a few hours off and floated down the Guadalupe River. In Gruene, Texas, there is a tradition of people renting rubber inner tubes (toobs as they call it in Texas) and placing them in the river, and allowing the current to gently float them a few miles down from where they first got in the river.

As I laid back on my toob, I thought to myself “I have finally found a sport that I can relate to.” I had quickly mastered my toob and the art of floating I was just drifting along backwards looking at where I had been. I didn’t hear the Rapids, and I didn’t see their rocks, I just laid back listening to the quiet sounds of nature and enjoying the relaxation. The river was a wonderful temperature. It seemed to move only very slightly and I only inched along the shoreline in its current.

Then, without warning, the velocity of my trip increased, the toob was turning and I was going up-and-down over rocks. I struggled to stay up right and to go in the right direction of the fork in the river. Then as soon as the Rapids began, the flow seem to stop, and I was in what appeared to be the doldrums (what ship captains call places in the water without movement), the toob was no longer moving downstream; it was just going ever so slowly in a continuous circle.

I found that after the fast movements I was very impatient to get moving again, and yet when I learned to enjoy the doldrums, I saw things that I had been blind to before. Evidence of God was all around me. A dozen or more giant turtles sunned themselves just a few feet away from my endless circle. On the third turn I saw beautiful birds standing on one leg as if to pose for me.

The flow of life is much like my journey on the river. If you’re only looking back to your past, you cannot see where you are going. When the speed of life increases, we are often shocked and all we can do is hold on for dear life. Then when movements stop again, we quickly become bored and impatient, and we wish that life would speed up again. We can become addicted to speed, but there are more blessings to be found in stillness. In stillness and quiet, we find God and evidence of God everywhere.

After fully enjoying the stillness and feeling refreshed by it, I had to physically paddle using my arms and hands and feet to get back to an area of the river where the current was taking things downstream. When I was in the flow again, I could just lay back and enjoy the trip. After a few hours, I felt like I had been immersed in a microcosm of the great macrocosm. Everything that I experienced on that small river was part of our large lives. If you really want to live a large life, you need a concept of a larger God. No matter where you are on your river of life, God is there and ready and willing to help. When you ask for God’s help, you stop the struggles. Just lie back, and relax, and enjoy the flow.

Most of us don’t remember what we did on a particular day last year, let alone many years ago, but we remember the magic moments, and many of those moments are times of spiritual experience, where we allow the quietness of God surround us.

That day, I let go and I let God take over and how relaxing it was. I realized today you may not be floating down the river, but you can have the same experience by simply letting go of some of the things that cause you great tension. Much of our tension comes from trying to manage and control our lives and the others in our lives. I could not control the river; I just flowed with it.

If our tensions are coming from relationships with coworkers and family, imagine today that you are all together toobing down the river. Let go and let God.

To “let go” does not mean to stop caring; it means I can’t do it for someone else.

To “let go” is not to cut myself off; it’s the realization that I can’t control another.

To “let go” is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences.

To “let go” is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.

To “let go” is not to try to change or blame another; it’s to make the most of myself.

To “let go” is not to care for, but to care about.

To “let go” is not to fix, but to be supportive.

To “let go” is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.

To “let go” is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to effect their destinies.

To “let go” is not to be protective; it’s to permit another to face reality.

To “let go” is not to deny, but to accept.

To “let go” is not to nag, scold, or argue, but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.

To “let go” is not to adjust everything to my desires, but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it.

To “let go” is not to criticize and regulate anybody, but to try to become what I dream I can be.

To “let go” is not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the future.

To “let go” is to fear less, and love more.

Positive Daily Inspiration – June 29, 2022 – God Brings The Extra To The Ordinary

Positive Daily Inspiration - June 29, 2022 - God Brings The Extra To The Ordinary

“They were filled with wonder and amazement.”
Acts 3:10

Extraordinary: it is the “extra” that makes something more than ordinary.

God brings the extra to the ordinary.

There are days when you can only stand in awe and say, “Thank You, God.” A miraculous healing, some unexpected supply, or a surprise will bring this feeling. A heartfelt compliment, an act of love, or a promotion will make our heart smile. A perfect outworking of some situation can bring this feeling of humility, this deep wonder, this awareness of our oneness with God.

The good always overwhelms the bad. The positive always overwhelms the negative. In every cloud there is a silver lining.

Let us look for God’s wonders. Let us see the shining of joy in a child’s eyes. Let us appreciate the compassionate understanding of a friend. Let us see the kindness of a good deed. Let us never overlook the thoughtfulness of a stranger.

Let us look to God’s nature, up to the majestic hills, to the red sunsets and golden sunsets, to the picturesque clouds. Let us become so conscious of God’s beauty that God’s loving creations of praise and thanksgiving fill us.

As I write this Positive Daily Inspiration, I have in front of me the most glorious day I’ve ever lived. One cannot look and not be filled with wonder and amazement at what God has done.

In the Bible where it says to become like a little child again, means to be filled with wonder and amazement. Sometimes adult eyes become clouded with the cataracts of time. We each need to see anew. We need to look at life as a child looks at life.

Let us not forget to look within ourselves also. How wondrously we are made! This is perhaps the greatest miracle of all. How beautifully do our organs function! How great are the God-given powers within us! How much we can be and do. How far we can travel in our imaginations of the wonder and amazement that we will create in our tomorrows! As blessed as we have been, the best is still ahead, for that is the way that life in God is.

In God’s presence there is a fullness of joy.

In Psalm 16:11 the Bible states, “Thou dost show me the path of life; in thy presence there is a fullness of joy, in thy right hand are their pleasures for evermore.”

Fullness of joy! Think about what this means. A joy that is not dependent upon any person, condition, or thing.

As wondrous as the wonders of God are, perhaps the greatest sense of this comes when it is not dependent on any outer event or trigger.

You can have a fullness of joy right where you are. You can have it by turning within and becoming conscious of God’s presence within you in prayer. There is a healing in God’s presence; there is an uplifting in God’s presence: in God’s presence there is a fullness of joy.

Not just a fleeting touch of joy, but a fullness of it.

Open your mind and heart to God’s joy today. Let God’s blessings pour forth through you. Right where you are, you can bring joy to all that are near you. Moreover, in cultivating a joyous spirit, you will be developing something in your soul that will remain with you always. The expression of joy is one of the greatest privileges in life and one of the most rewarding, leading to a continuous series of thank you God days!

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

Dear God, I pray that I’m filled with wonder and amazement.
I pray that I am not blind to Your blessings that constantly overflow my life.
I pray that I see anew.
I pray for a vision that sees the good in everything.

THANK YOU, GOD!

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: In the name of Jesus Christ, I am secure in my good, and therefore I am filled to overflowing with gratitude.

Positive Daily Inspiration – June 28, 2022 – Tuesday Prayer and Meditation

Positive Daily Inspiration - June 28, 2022 - Tuesday Prayer and Meditation

“Thou dost keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee.”
Isaiah 26:3

Let us pray:

Dear God, from this place, this body of believers around the world we turn to You, we are asking that a special spiritual awareness be given to each person praying.

We ask that each person being prayed for will be blessed, that God’s healing light and love will radiate through all of us and all those with whom we pray, and throughout all Creation.

What a comfort to know that God is here with us. What a reassuring thought to know that we are not alone; that, God, we can count on You. No matter what we face in our day or our night, You are with us.

Thank You, God!

This moment, as we go into our time of prayer and meditation, we lean on the everlasting arms of God. As we do so, we realize that we can allow ourselves to rest and allow God to take over.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

Dear God, we come here to feel Your power. We consent, in our minds, to Your thoughts coming through us. We consent, in our physical body temples, to You infilling every cell with Your ever-new creative perfection.

Dear God, we consent to You radiating out into our daily lives, touching every person and every event. We have come here this moment to gather in united prayer; to believe in something greater than ourselves and our existence at the present time.

We have come here to believe in the power of Your Divine perfection working in and through us. We know it is happening.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

Something spiritual is happening that is wonderful. There is a spiritual quickening inside every person who is hearing or reading these words that goes way beyond the words. There is a quickening of the Christ that is fused with your mind. There is a quickening that is causing you to be vital, to think clearly, and to realize that you are not alone.

Dear God, together we come to surrender the error ways and error thought. We come to surrender disease and uncomfortable feelings in our physical body temples. We come to surrender ways in our lives that are not working.

We ask for an inward inspiring of the correct path, the correct way to go. We ask for an infilling of thoughts that will feed our life and our body temple. We ask for an infilling of perfection throughout our body.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

I decree, in Jesus Christ’s name, that there is a perfection of God working through every organ in your body temple. The perfection of God works through your heart. With every beat of your heart, there is a strength that underlies your heart. There is perfection of the rhythm of the beat of your heart. There is a wonderful outworking of God through the muscles and tissues of your heart.

There is a cleansing of your blood happening that is so perfect. There is a perfection of equilibrium within your blood as it flows through the arteries and veins of your physical body temple. You are feeling the vitality of the Christ in and through you – the highest level of perfection.

Your lungs are breathing in the life of God, and they are breathing in with strength and vitality that is causing a regeneration to occur within them. Your lungs have the breath of the Almighty and the power of God.

There is a great strength in your skeletal structure. There is a great strength coming from the center of your bones and radiating out. There is a strength in all of your joints that is causing a wonderful feeling of stability on your feet. You are able to walk with perfect mobility and stand with the stability of Christ.

There is no uneasiness as you stand. You stand with God and God stands within you, holding you upright. The power of God is in your legs, your joints, your arms, and your hands. You are able to bend and move freely, and you are able to grip and do all you would like to do with an added power that is beyond your own. The life of God moves inside of you, and therefore, you move in an effortless, painless way.

The life of God is perfect digestion in you. You digest with perfection function. Your body temple takes from the food exactly what it needs and eliminates the rest. How well it works! The digestion of the Christ is working in and through you.

This moment you are feeding your body temple and your soul. You are infilling yourself with the knowledge, the vital, quickening power of the Christ. You are not alone in doing this. You are in faith, immersed in a body of believers. Each person in this collective praying is praying in the same way. There is great power within this prayer.

We are praying, now, for our town. I ask you to quickly say a prayer, silently and with great power, for the healing energy of the Christ to cover your town as an umbrella. May every person within your town be affected by the power of the Christ and the perfection that knows God is here now, working in and through our lives.

May every home know that they are covered by the Christ energy. May the Christ energy infill your home. Every room, and every person who dwells within your home will know the peace, tranquility, and love of the Christ.

There is a higher level in your thought, and the vibratory rate of your physical body temple. God is truly alive, manifesting and perfecting, inside of you, through you, in your body, in your home, to the people you touch, and to people everywhere.

Individually, each of us in this collective praying, pray that all people may know the power of God working through them. No matter what church they go to or which way they worship, may they find God on their path, and may they find the happiness we have found and that will stay with us the rest of this day and on into the night.

We give thanks for this.

I ask you to rest in the silence as we seal this prayer with our belief …

In Jesus Christ’s name … Amen.

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: I am centered in God; nothing can disturb the calm peace of my soul.

POSITIVE DAILY QUOTE: “We were made to enjoy music, to enjoy beautiful sunsets, to enjoy looking at the billows of the sea and to be thrilled with a rose that is bedecked with dew … Human beings are actually created for the transcendent, for the sublime, for the beautiful, for the truthful … and all of us are given the task of trying to make the world a little more hospitable to these beautiful things.” Bishop Desmond Tutu

_____________________________________

As a human being, you have a body, a mind, and a soul. This great country has the same, many bodies, great intelligence, and inventiveness, and a combined soul destined to continual greatness.

I would like you to look upon our flag. A lot is represented in this great American symbol. We have thirteen stripes, representing the beginning of our country on July 4th with the 13 original colonies. Then there are fifty stars. That says something more. It shows the American spirit.

There have been great obstacles for us to overcome as a people. Right after July 4th, this country was in chaos. The soul of our country contains the heritage and history of our people. The soul is what has gone on before, what is going on today, and what will go on in the future. The mind of this great country is within you today. You have been given the key to this great land for it is the land of opportunity.

After July 4th, 1776, chaos broke out in this country. In 1787, our country was in such chaos that the thirteen colonies thought they were going to go down. Many around the world believed that this was the end of the great experiment called the United States of America. A constitutional convention was formed. When these thirteen colonies came together, they were so disjointed that there was only one thing that could save them – God’s Spirit.

Benjamin Franklin knew this. He was 81. He rose and spoke to the convention. He said, “I am convinced that scripture is right when it says in Psalms 127:1: ‘Accept the Lord. Build the house. They labor in vain that build it.’ Gentlemen, I have lived a long time. I am convinced that God governs in the affairs of men. If the sparrow can’t fall to the ground without God’s notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without God’s aid? I move, gentlemen, that prayer imploring the assistance of heaven be held every morning before we proceed with business.”

Prayer is what this whole country was based on. It began with a dream – a dream to come to a country and be able to worship as you want to worship, to pray as you want to pray. It began with a dream to become whatever you wanted to become. After July 4, 1776, what happened to that dream? What is happening with it today?

I heard a commentator say recently that our economic challenges are the greatest that we’ve ever faced.

We have been in greater difficulties, and we have pulled out of those difficulties because of our greatness as a people and as a nation, and we will again.

Every time we look at the flag, we see the dream manifested. We see what has happened between the time that there were thirteen dis-united states until the manifestation of our fifty United States.

By September of 1786, the United States were – the plural applies – as unstrung as a junkyard guitar. The economy barely moved. Inflation was high triple digit. Jails bulged with debtors, criminals in those pre-credit card days. States waged vicious trade wars against each other. The total federal income in 1785 was less than a third of just the interest on the national debt. Printing presses flowed rivers of worthless paper money. It was so out of control that James Madison owed his barber $1,020 for one haircut.

The British, having lost the Revolution, determined to win the peace by strangling American commerce. The redcoats refused to leave frontier forts. Spain closed the Mississippi to American flatboats. Lacking a navy, America was humbled into paying the ruler of Morocco $10,000 to keep his hands off Yankee vessels.

Congress, sitting in New York, was hopeless and hapless. From October 1785 through the following April, a quorum showed up for only three days. Not three years before, Congress fled Philadelphia rather than be killed by the bayonets of mutinous, unpaid soldiers from the Revolution.

The law of the land was a deservedly forgotten political Edsel called the Articles of Confederation by which the thirteen states were as free as preschoolers in a sandbox to do as they pleased. No one was in charge. Had there been, most likely it would have been George Washington, but he was retired to Mount Vernon, dangerously low on money and filled with dismay.

In August 1786 he wrote: “I do not conceive we can exist long as a nation without having lodged somewhere a power which will pervade the whole Union.” The Americans ad-libbed victory in the Revolution, a war fought on a shoestring and often without shoe leather. What they were against was clear. What they were for was not. The Articles reflected this indecision.

John Dickinson of Pennsylvania drafted the Articles in 1776, right after the Continental Congress declared independence. Having thrown off one despotism, the thirteen colonies were not about to hurl themselves back into the fire by creating another. So, there was no national executive under the Articles. Congress could ask for funds from the states but could not compel payment. Memories of stamp taxes were not easily forgotten. Nor were Crown judges. So, the Confederation had no national court system.

As the war wound down, states became more deaf to appeals from Congress for cash. Congress asked for $8 million in 1782 to run the government at war’s end and $2 million in 1783 when peace came. The states responded with $1.5 million in each year. So Congress asked for an amendment to the Articles to permit it to levy a 5% tax for 25 years to pay off the war debt. An amendment required the approval of all thirteen states. Four said no.

Under the Articles, any major legislation required approval of nine states. So, states opposed to anything could combine and exercise a veto by staying home until the legislation blew over. This sat well anyhow because delegates had trouble paying their landladies as Congress wandered all but penniless from Philadelphia to Princeton to Annapolis to Trenton to New York.

The Articles didn’t even provide for the common defense once peace broke out. So, most states had their own navy or army or both. Without judges to appeal to, this meant the quickest solution to most interstate squabbles was to tax the neighboring state with higher import and export taxes. The winners were the states that had major ports and established merchant marines such as Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New York. The losers were the New Jerseys, Connecticut and Carolinas who had little or none of the above. They were taxed through the nose by those maritime states and resented it, deeply.

New Jersey paid 40,000 pounds a year in hard money to send and receive goods through New York and Philadelphia. In retaliation, it charged New York 30 pounds a month rental on the lighthouse at Sandy Hook. Maryland closed the Potomac to Virginians, and Virginia retaliated by charging Maryland tolls at the entrance to Chesapeake Bay. Massachusetts and Rhode Island wanted to retaliate against British shipping after the war, but Connecticut hoped to garner the trade from the mother country and wouldn’t go along.

Americans were Americans in name, not fact. A New Yorker said he wouldn’t send his son to school in Connecticut lest he pick up “the low craft and cunning so incident to the people of that country.” Note the world “country.”

The British delighted at the infighting among what London called the “disunited States.” Geography in the form of innumerable rivers and coastal bays divided the states. A letter to England from Boston could reach there faster than one mailed to Charleston. “Good roads,” said one American, “are like angels’ visits: few and far between.”

The British well recognized the potential of a vast nation that already contained 3.5 million people. English strategy was to divide and conquer, to foster divisions and perhaps see the confederation split into three manageable (to London) nations divided by economics and interest into South, Middle and North. Britain contemplated sending ambassadors to each state instead of one to the country as a while.

Well, money was out of hand. The dream was out of hand. Most people were on the very rim of bankruptcy. Marylanders, for instance, owed British creditors the staggering sum of 1.6 million pounds; this when the total federal income was $400,000.

By 1786, seven states were printing paper money backed mostly by wishful thinking and rarely accepted by the states next door. New York speculators crammed saddlebags with printed money and headed for the hinterlands hoping to fool the uninformed people before they learned the money was worthless. Rhode Island, a paper money state, passed a law that creditors had to accept payment at face value regardless of the worth of the money. Rhode Island’s creditors departed Rhode Island, which was okay with the debtors but meant there was no one left to get credit from.

Here we have a nation after July 4, 1776–disbanded, going down. America was looked at by other countries as buzzards fly over a dead animal who is no longer working. When you look at our flag, you see that. You see the thirteen original countries that were not united. How did it become united? How did we get to the blue part of the flag where we see the fifty stars?

Today when people throw up their arms and say, “This will never work. Our country will never succeed now,” realize that God’s Spirit is in the mind of every person in this great land. God’s grace shines on this land. As hopeless as things have seemed in the past, when God’s working, the miracles come.

The miracles came through a piece of paper that united thirteen stripes on our flag. It got them to work together as one nation under God. That piece of paper is called the Constitution. It embodies the American spirit.

Let me share with you a few words from author Emmett Fox about that piece of paper. He said:

“The United States is not merely one more nation added to the list of nationalities. It stands for certain special ideas and special principles which have never been definitely expressed in concrete form in the world before. These ideas may be summed up in the conception of personal freedom and unlimited opportunity.”

What may be called the American Spirit is an intangible though very real thing in itself, but as far as it can be put into words, it has been expressed in the two great official documents of the American Republic, namely, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

These two documents are among the most remarkable ever written, and their effect upon the history of the world has probably never been surpassed. They are both quite short, not more than a few thousand words in length, but every thoughtful person anywhere, and certainly every American, should make themselves acquainted with them.

The Constitution contains no direct preaching at all. It makes no direct statements about the nature of humans or their destiny, or of a human’s relations with other people, or with God. It is, seemingly, just a dry legal document. Never does it say in so many words that a human should be free, that human beings should live together in brother and sisterhood, or that a human is the child of God. All these things are expressed or implied in the Declaration of Independence; and the Declaration is, I suppose, one of the most vivid and colorful documents that has ever been written. It thrills with hope and faith and enthusiasm. The Constitution, on the other hand, is formal, technical, precise, and not, at first sight, of any interest to the layman. Indeed, the Constitution and the Declaration might be described, in a sense, as the anatomy and physiology of government–the one concerned with the hard dry bones of the supporting skeleton, and the other the warm living organs and tissues of life.

To understand the American Constitution, one must realize that it aims at bringing about a definitely selected condition of things. It aims at a special way of life–a way of life that up to the present has only been found in completeness in the United States. It aims at personal freedom for the individual. It aims at the idea of substantial equality, and above all, at equality of opportunity. No civilization had ever before aimed at that.

The great Roman Empire had certain magnificent aims, but equality of opportunity was not one of them; they were always based on a foundation of slavery. The Middle Ages definitely rejected the idea of personal freedom and equality of opportunity and aimed rather at discipline and uniformity.

We tend to take these things – this freedom of opportunity – too much for granted. The people of the generation which produced it, the people of the Revolution, had to think it out. They had to work for it. They had to make sacrifices for it. They had to fight for it, and in many cases, they had to lay down their lives for it. It did not come easily. The inspiration was there, but, as with every inspiration, it had to be brought out into practical expression, and that is always difficult. It’s always easy to copy another thing with slight alterations, but very difficult to do something really new and better. In this case, the inspiration came to the leader, to the Fathers of the Constitution, as we call them, but they could have done nothing alone if the people had not responded, and worked, and fought, to make it secure.

The power of this nation says that you have equality of opportunity. You have an opportunity as an American to dream. You have an opportunity as an American to go to God the way you choose to go to God. You have, as an American, the right to go into any state and know that it is part of your land because you are a part of the United States.

There are people who got together when all dismay was breaking loose. Between those thirteen stripes and the blue that represents the fifty states, there was prayer.

There was a piece of paper that was written by prayer-directed people who consented to the Mind of God. When they consented to that Mind that is within each one of us, the chaos became a haven. The chaos became a glory–the glory of Old Glory.

If your life is in dismay, if your parts don’t feel connected in any way, if your body is in dismay, if you feel like there are thirteen separate areas of your body and they are all shouting, perhaps you need to do what Benjamin Franklin did – pray.

As you pray, know that in your body and mind and soul, like the body and mind and soul of this great country, there is power beyond human seeing. There is a power beyond human dismay. That power is God.

It wasn’t our forefathers and foremothers who created this nation. It was the power of God working through our ancestors. If our ancestors had been left alone to work with their own wits, we would just have the thirteen stripes and it would only be a memory. We would not be here today in this land called America. Because of the Mind of God, we have what we celebrate on the weekend of July 4th.

God Bless You!

PRAYER / MEDITATION__________________________

Prayer is the language of Spirit. It does not know time or space.

As you pray, you pray for more than just yourself. You pray for those who are looking to us for prayer. We become active in the ways of prayer that go out from where we are and cover people with an umbrella of God’s help.

The spirit of God expresses itself through you. In this prayer time, you are able to relax. You are able to release any thought or feeling that interferes with your awareness of the spirit of God.

As you do, remember what it says within the Holy Bible: “A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you.” The spirit of God fills your hearts and minds, making you a vessel–a wonderful, unique vessel fulfilling a sacred purpose. As a vessel, you open yourself to the inpouring and outpouring of the spirit of God.

You are open to wisdom, to life, and to abundance in this silent time of prayer …

There is a peace that is with you. It is the peace of God. It is a pure, unconditional peace that cleanses away fear and unforgiveness.

We are serene … still … as you hear the world

“Peace … peace … peace … Peace, be still.”

Rest in the silence of prayer, in the peace of God …

The Spirit of God establishes peace within you and in all areas of your life.

You think now about wisdom and guidance. You allow wisdom to fill your mind. God is wisdom. In daily choices or in major life decisions, Divine ideas come forth from the Spirit of God. These ideas, the quiet hand of God playing the instruments of our minds and hearts, guide us in the path of right thinking. We accept these wonderful ideas and give them full expression in our thoughts, words, and actions. No matter what the need, God’s almighty wisdom has the answer for us. We attune ourselves to the wisdom of God and are guided in perfect ways. You pray now for wisdom and understanding for yourself and for others.

In the silence of prayer …

The Spirit of God fills you with wisdom and understanding. You make right choices.

Having affirmed guidance for ourselves and others, we now gently shift our attention to healing. We know that life abides within our body temples, for God is life.

In the Holy Bible it states: “Do you now know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?”

This mighty healing power fills every atom, every cell, every organ and tissue, and directs every function and activity. It knows exactly what to do and how to do it. This mighty healing power is at work right now. You are strengthened, nourished, and sustained by the Spirit of God. You are restored to wholeness and health according to the Divine plan.

Know this now, in the silence of prayer …

This Truth of God permeates every cell of your body. It is the absolute Truth of you. The Spirit of God is mighty within you and fortifies your body temple.

Now we gently move our thoughts to ideas of prosperity. Abundance fills our lives. God is supply. The spirit of God within us is the source of abundance. As we pray, we give thanks for every expression of God’s loving, providing spirit–for friends and family, for flowers and birds, for sunshine and rain, for the busyness of each day and the quiet of each night.

We pray now for a greater awareness of the bountiful goodness of God for ourselves and for others as we take this Truth into our hearts: The Spirit of God urges me to succeed. All that I need is provided.

In prayer, we are open to the Mind of God. We are open to the fulfillment of every need–peace, joy, health, prosperity, guidance, freedom. We accept all that is ours through the precious spirit of God within us. With hearts overflowing, we say, “Thank You, God!” From this place and this time of stillness, we have a new power to go forth, knowing that we are bountifully cared for because the spirit of God abides within us.

The light of God surrounds you;
The love of God enfolds you;
The power of God protects you;
The presence of God watches over you.
Wherever you are, God is!

In Jesus Christ’s name we pray … Amen.

Positive Daily Inspiration – June 27, 2022 – GOAL-SETTING

Positive Daily Inspiration - June 27, 2022 - GOAL-SETTING

“O Lord … grant me success today.”
Genesis 24:12

NEW Video – see below.

I believe in goal setting. I write down what I want to accomplish and keep a positive attitude because I know with God, we can do all things. Nothing is impossible to God and a willing person.

When there are goals, you want to reach, you can rely on God to give you the wisdom needed to achieve them. As you trust in God, you have increased confidence in your abilities, and you know that you can succeed. With faith and determination, you use your God-given powers and abilities in constructive and fulfilling ways.

As you keep yourself centered in God, you are able to keep your thoughts and emotions composed. You think clearly and express your ideas in effective ways. With God’s help, you make wise use of your time and energy so that you can accomplish all that needs to be done by you easily and successfully.

You are important to God and needed in God’s plan. Always God will bless you when you are moving ahead in the direction of bringing God’s good to yourself and others. You depend on God’s guidance and know that ways to achieve your highest aspirations are being revealed to you.

With God’s help, your thoughts change from “I want to be” to “I can be” and finally, to the realization “I am!”

In James 1:22 our Bible states, “Be doers of the word.” We are to put into action, in our own lives, the things that Jesus said that we could do, and be. Have you ever thought, after reading a “Positive Daily Inspiration” lesson: “This is just what I was thinking! Why can’t I put my ideas into words like this?” I am here today to tell you that – you can!

I am suggesting that today you try writing down the ideas that come to you as you think about your own special needs and desires for prayer. Write a positive prayer affirmation for yourself. Not one that is filled with doubts and negativity. Remember you are relying upon God, and you are writing for yourself a positive statement of God’s truth.

You will write a God-truth message for your very own self, to your very own self.

If there is a healing need, write out a simple healing statement; and add it to your thoughts about prayer, healing, faith, and God’s will for you.

Example: God’s will for me is absolute ever-increasing health. I have faith in God’s healing power now!

If there is a need for prosperity, harmony, renewed relationship, or guidance, formulate a positive prayer statement; write a few words that express your thoughts about God’s power to fulfill the need. Find the Bible verse that you like, one that seems to be just for you today.

Putting your faith into words and forming positive God centered goals to use in your prayer time will call forth the quickened activity of answered prayer and give you a true feeling of spiritual achievement.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

Today, dear God I place my burdens in Your hands.
I look to You for help.
I admit I cannot do it alone.
I am ready to receive Divine assistance.
I am very appreciative of the miracles that
I am about to receive.
Thank You God!

In Jesus Christ’s name … Amen

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: Wherever I am, day or night, God is with me, my help in every need.

POSITIVE DAILY QUOTE: “If you’re bored with life if you don’t get up every morning with a burning desire to do things, you don’t have enough goals.” Lou Holtz

Positive Daily Inspiration – June 24, 2022 – Accepting Good from God

Positive Daily Inspiration - June 24, 2022 - Accepting Good from God

“The Lord will give what is good.”
Psalms 85:12

Sometimes we can learn a great deal from people that we do not wish to copy. An example of this was Ima Whiner, a lady that sometime, somewhere got off track.

She complained her way through every day, whining those things were never right, and never would be. Ima could never accept that things could get better, and over time she didn’t have a willingness to accept God’s good.

To begin to experience a better life, you have to be willing to give up every heavy and depressing thought of the past. You have to be ready to yield every thought that would bind you to the limited beliefs of yesterday. You have to cast from your mind every thought that would hold you in bondage to the limitations of the past AND GO TO GOD.

You must cease to entertain thoughts of disharmony, hate, lack and fear. You are no longer held hostage to beliefs that would cause you to lose sight of God’s truth. You give up thought that would bind you to limitations. You recognize no outer thing or circumstance has the power to limit or to affect your ongoing as a child of God. God is bigger than your problems!

Today, you advance in the might of God by being WILLING to claim your spiritual heritage.

You greet this day as giving you an opportunity to receive new blessings from God. You listen to the truth that Jesus speaks in your soul and rise in the glory of your spiritual power. You proclaim your world as subject only to the will and the work of Christ.

You no longer look upon yourself as created in the image and likeness of imperfection and failure. You know the truth that you are created in the image and likeness of God.

You greet life today with the conviction and the assurance that God is the all-providing, all-pervading, all-reigning presence of good in your life right now. You believe in God’s omnipotent power. You acknowledge God as the one presence and one power in your life. Going forth, armed with the conviction of your oneness with God, you face life with new courage and conviction.

You know that the power of God is mighty in your life. You do not consider any problem of the world too difficult for God to solve.

You are surrounded and infilled by the love of God. You cease to think of yourself as living in disharmony and discord. You are living in a peaceful environment co-created by you and God. You are surrounded by the blessings of God. Everywhere you look, you find a blessing from God.

You are established in a new thinking of life, health, and strength. Gone are the old beliefs that would bind you to physical weakness. You now rise in Divine awareness by praying in faith in God’s health. Your faith is expressed in your physical organism as new vitality and strength. Health is now appearing through your faith in God. You are emerging into a new existence. You live in God and God lives in you. You follow Jesus by living as a sample of the great example. You live in faith, untouched by negative belief, unaffected by ignorance, and immune to fear. You live in God’s kingdom of peace, love, justice, and beauty.

You are WILLING this day to bring forth God’s high ideals. God renews and lifts your vision, to be centered on the spiritual height from which comes true illumination. You agree to lift your vision to those heights from which you are illuminated by the light of God. Guidance and light are shed on your path.

You go forth into your week radiating God’s light and truth to others. Jesus said, “Let your light shine.”

Yes, the Lord will continually give what is good, but in our free-will we to be WILLING to accept that God-given good.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

Dear God, I pray for a strong resilient spirit.
I pray that I am the type of person that rises to the occasion.
I pray that I feel a surge of faith and trust. I pray that I have the ability to cope and to know with You there is nothing to fear.

May I feel Your assurance.
God, be with me, fortifying me, reassuring me so that I know You are my help in every need.

In Jesus Christ name … Amen

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: The solution to my every challenge is accessible through God.

POSITIVE DAILY QUOTE: “You can preach a better sermon with your life than with your lips.” Oliver Goldsmith
