Positive Daily Inspiration – May 7, 2022 – God Will Supply Every Need Of Yours

Positive Daily Inspiration - May 7, 2022 - God Will Supply Every Need Of Yours

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19

Howard County Sheriff, Jerry Marr, got a disturbing call one Saturday afternoon eight years ago. His 6-year-old grandson, Mikey, had been hit by a car while fishing in Greentown with his dad. The father and son were near a bridge by the Kokomo Reservoir when a woman lost control of her car, slid off the bridge and hit Mikey at a rate of about 50 mph. Sheriff Marr had seen the results of accidents like his and feared the worst. When he got to Saint Joseph Hospital, he rushed through the emergency room to find Mikey conscious and in fairly good spirits, “Mikey, what happened?” Sheriff Marr asked.

Mikey replied, “Well, Papaw, I was fishin’ with Dad, and some lady runned me over, I flew into a mud puddle, and broke my fishin’ pole and I didn’t get to catch no fish!”

As it turned out, the impact propelled Mikey about 500 feet, over a few trees and an embankment and in the middle of a mud puddle. His only injuries were to his right femur bone which had broken in two places. Mikey had surgery to place pins in his leg. Otherwise, the boy was fine. Since all the boy could talk about was that his fishing pole was broken, the Sheriff went out to Wal-Mart and bought him a new one while he was in surgery so he could have it when he came out.

The next day the Sheriff sat with Mikey to keep him company in the hospital. Mikey was enjoying his new fishing pole and talked about when he could go fishing again as he cast into the trash can. When they were alone, Mikey, just as a matter of fact, said, “Papaw, did you know Jesus is real?”

“Well,” the Sheriff replied, a little startled. “Yes, Jesus is real to all who believe in him and love him in their hearts.”

“No,” said Mikey. “I mean Jesus is REALLY real.”

“What do you mean?” asked the Sheriff.

“I know he’s real ’cause I saw him.” said Mikey, still casting into the trash can.

“You did?” said the Sheriff.

“Yep,” said Mikey. “When that lady runned me over and broke my fishing pole, Jesus caught me in his arms and laid me down in the mud puddle.”

GIVES YOU POSITIVE BUMPS DOESN’T IT!

Positive Daily Inspiration – May 6, 2022 – Happy Is The Person Who Trusts In The Lord

Positive Daily Inspiration - May 6, 2022 - Happy Is The Person Who Trusts In The Lord

“Happy is the person who trusts in the Lord.”
Proverbs 16:20

Albert Schweitzer said, “Success is NOT the key to happiness. Happiness IS the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”

Decide to have fun today.

Decide to be happy.

Enjoy this Day.

TODAY – You start this day by filling your mind with thoughts that are constructive and optimistic.

You start this day with a happy heart.

You remember Paul’s words: “Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” As you do this, there is no room in your mind or heart for unhappy thoughts or feelings.

As you start your day with a happy heart, your face will be brighter, your walk will be lighter, your step will be livelier, and your voice will be cheerful. God’s love will light the way before you.

Every relationship will be harmonious.

Every condition will improve.

Every task will be easier.

There is no room in a happy heart for fear, envy, or sorrow. Your heart blesses your memories, and they too will become happier. Your happy heart releases all tension, and you will be at ease and at peace in mind and body.

You start this day with a happy heart, and you are happy all day long.

You are filled with God’s strength to no longer allow outside events to determine your happiness.

You do not live from outside in.

You live from inside out.

God is with you to make everything better.

Stop the struggle.

Enjoy this sacred gift of time you have been given.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

Dear God, I want to stop my struggle.
I am trying to remember the sacred gift You have given me of life, and time.
I don’t want to just exist, especially in an atmosphere of my fear, and anxiety.
I want to wake up and realize what I’ve been given.
Help me to enjoy this day.
Help me to become aware of my blessings.
Help me, over time, to build reserves of happiness, that overpower any of the weak moments, and temporary seemingly bad situations.
I am a happy soul, living a happy life, serving a happy God.

In Jesus Christ’s name … Amen

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: I am a happy soul, living a happy life, serving a happy God!

Positive Daily Inspiration – May 5, 2022 – SERVICE TO GOD AND OTHERS

Positive Daily Inspiration - May 5, 2022 - SERVICE TO GOD AND OTHERS

In Matthew 20:25-28, the Bible says: “But Jesus called them to him and said, ‘You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you: but whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and to whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.'”

If you were to picture Jesus Christ, you would probably see him standing with everyone kneeling in front of him. The more accurate picture of Jesus Christ would be with him kneeling and everyone else standing – there’s a big difference.

The true Jesus Christ that you, and I, know is the Jesus Christ that talks about service. Service to others is one of the highest ways to live life. In service to others, we find our own happiness. We often think that we should have it all. But the whole concept of Christianity is not that we should have it all – it is that we should give it all away. As we give it away, we find the key to a spiritual mystery that it all returns to us – multiplied.

This Sunday, at church, don’t just attend, ask what you can do to help. You will get much more than you give. YOU CAN’T OUT-GIVE GOD!

In Romans 7:6 we read, “But now we are discharged from the law, dead to that which held us captive, so that we serve not under the old written code but in the new life of the Spirit.”

This tells us that we are not serving under a ball and chain type of service. We are serving the Lord by consenting inside of us.

It’s a better life, a very high life. It’s a life filled with so much joy we can’t possibly imagine how much. Jesus said he gave his life as a ransom for many. Each of us has given our life as a ransom for many if we are walking the high path. It’s not that we’re going to be crucified; we are going the extra mile and becoming “other-centered.”

We hear a lot today about recycling; I’m asking you to recycle yourself. Don’t stay enclosed in a small area; get outside of your comfort circle and make a difference in somebody’s life. Many of you have done this your whole life. The bottom line is, “Did I make a difference last year, or last month, or last week, or yesterday?” You are here for a purpose. I don’t know what that purpose is; only you know what that purpose is. But I can give you a broad definition of purpose – you are here to make a difference: you are here to let your light shine; you are here to follow Jesus Christ. Will you suffer? The amazing thing is you don’t suffer at all, because life becomes a joy. You see, you pass through this day but once. Therefore, any kind thing you can do can make a big difference. You don’t know what a little light will do in someone’s life. You say: “Well, I’m not going to act on that thought. It’s such a small thing what difference could it possibly make?” You don’t know. We rarely know the difference we can make. I ask you to go in S E R V I C E to God.

When you go all the way in S E R V I C E to God, you don’t have to give up anything. Instead, you gain everything. Jesus talked about this a thousand times. The problem is that we don’t believe it. Our faith seems to dwindle at some point, making it difficult to get out of our comfort zone. But that is where life really is; it’s where the answers to everything lie.

We often ask what something is going to do for us, when our real question should be what are we going to do for it.

John F. Kennedy in his inauguration address said, “Ask not what this country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country?”

That could be paraphrased 1000 ways. Ask not what your church can do for you, but what you can do for your church?

The game is never one from the sidelines!

In Romans 9:12 the Bible states, “The elder will serve the younger.” What a different picture we have of life. We see the younger serving the elder. But think about it. If you are following the Christ Path, and if you have more years on your physical body temple than other people, you know more about life. The finest way you can serve life may be to give of your talents, and experience, to help those who are younger to avoid some of the potholes of life. You have what it takes to keep them out of those holes.

Do you want happiness in your life? I know you do, or you wouldn’t be reading this, or any, “Positive Daily Inspiration.” You want something more than you’ve had so far. You have been searching for the magic, and sometimes you’ve found it, but many times it’s been missing. You want to all the time. Then, after a while, you think, Well, I really can’t have it all the time. Life is like a roller coaster. It goes up and then it goes down, and that’s the way life is.

But you CAN have it all the time. You can have a whole life not knowing depression. I know many of you have experienced depression, and sometimes it’s been a long bout. To get out of depression, you MUST get out of yourself. That’s especially difficult when you’re feeling down. It’s like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, but what is really on your shoulders is yourself. You have to get out of yourself, stop thinking about yourself and become other-centered. When you do, the magic happens. It’s a wonderful spiritual sparkle which continues. There is a flow of Christ energy through you, and you are filled with Christ thoughts on how to serve. It makes a huge difference in your life. We are all construction workers if we are following the Christ. What we are constructing is other people.

In describing this ministry, I often say, “We do not build buildings – we build people!

We are building them up and not ever tearing them down, because we have a mission. There are many in the world who are working to tear down construction projects called human beings. But we are in the business of building people up because that is how the world will be changed.

Will you join me in this year-long project of Positive Christianity of being in active S E R V I C E to God through serving others?

Jesus said in part, “Do this to one of these – the least, my brethren, and you have done it unto me.”

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

Infinite wisdom guides me in the service I give.

Infinite wisdom through me provides the opportunity for me to serve. Divine love through me prepares me to serve with the sense of satisfaction, both heartwarming and fulfilling.

My chores, my work, all my activities seem less difficult as I set about them cheerfully and lovingly. I know that Infinite wisdom is guiding me aright in the service I give, that Divine love is establishing harmony every step of the way. I feel a sense of rightness and of right timing in all that I do.

I give thanks for my ability to serve in any way that I am directed. I give thanks for the fuller expression of life that I find in serving. I give thanks that Divine love provides abundantly for me. I pray that the service I render may be a joy filled experience that touches the lives of others.

In Jesus Christ’s name … Amen

“Rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same again from the Lord.”
Ephesians 6:7

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: God equips me with the talents I need to serve effectively.

POSITIVE DAILY QUOTE: “The enemy is fear. We think it is hate, but it is fear.”
Gandhi

Positive Daily Inspiration – May 4, 2022 – PRAISE GOD

Positive Daily Inspiration - May 4, 2022 - PRAISE GOD

“Out of them shall come songs of Thanksgiving.”
Jeremiah 30:19

The Bible says to become like a little child again. Children praise and see the good in everything constantly. Over time, the ability to do this diminishes, without practice it can go away.

A lot of people only communicate in forms of cynicism or criticism. This is a hard way to live and it leads to personal unhappiness. Our life is only as happy as what we focus upon. If you see the good through a conscious decision to look for the good, the good will overwhelm you. If you choose to see the bad, you will find it. The old question, “Is the cup half full or half empty?” is answered this way – “with God the cup is overflowing.”

Decide to begin today with a happy heart, with gladness, and sweet delight. Bring your joy to God in Thanksgiving. Praise is a form of prayer. Today make your prayer a prayer of Thanksgiving to God for all of God’s blessings. No matter what is before you, no matter what your need may be, you can come to God with a happy heart. You can make your time of prayer, a time when cares are laid aside, a time when you rest happily in the love of God.

In your mind you look for what is right, instead of what’s wrong.

Today, your heart finds it natural and right to sing a song of joy. You were meant for joy and happiness. You were created for harmony and beauty of living.

As you go about your tasks today, you carry a song in your heart, a song of thankfulness, a song of happiness, a song of praise, a song of joy. Today you praise everything in your life mentally and verbally through every hour that you are awake.

“In God we live and move and have our being.” Acts 17:28

In prayer, turn to the Divine presence that is with you and within you. Seek God. Be still before God. Wait upon God quietly, earnestly, but constantly and trustingly; for days, even weeks, if need be! Let God work in you, and sooner or later you will spring up into a resurrected life of newness and power that you never dreamed of before. Your desire to be free and whole is a God-given desire. God is not only able, but willing, to fill this desire with God’s perfection. You can’t for a moment be separated from the life and activity of God. You are never alone. God lives with you and God lives within you. With God’s life, you can depend upon God for your every breath.

Let us hold to our trust in God. Let us no longer fear the conditions of our lives or be anxious for visible evidence of the answer to our prayers. You are no longer God fearing, you are God honoring and God worshiping, living your life in total gratitude. As you seek the source of your life, you find an inexhaustible reservoir of strength and power. You place your trust in the one source God. You acknowledge God’s power to overcome any obstacle that seems to block your path. God is the true source of good in your life. God is the true source of unending help in your life.

I pray that your fear will drop away as swiftly as tarnish from a silver spoon when it is polished and cleaned. I pray that you accept fully in your faith that you do not need to be afraid. There is nothing at all in the universe for you to fear, for greater is He that is within you that he that is in the world. From now on I pray that you are not just calm on the surface, and an easygoing person putting on a bold front – but a person who has totally conquered fear itself. I pray that you live in a constant state of praise.

In Jesus Christ’s name … Amen

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: The all-conquering God inside of me can easily conquer this difficulty outside of me.

POSITIVE DAILY QUOTE: “Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.” Mother Teresa

Phyllis Diller is quoted as saying, “It would seem that something which means poverty, disorder and violence every single day should be avoided entirely, but the desire to beget children is a natural urge.”

But, Mildred B. Vermont probably put more correctly when she said, “Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs … the payment is pure love.”

Ask any mother today, and she will tell you. To hold a little one and feel love is one of the wonders of the world.

In 1 John 4:12, our Bible states “God’s abides in us and God’s love is perfected in us.”

It is certainly perfected in mothers. A Mother’s love is such a mighty force.

“A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie.” Tenneva Jordan

There was a scientist at the University of Wisconsin who created a mothering machine for little animals. It was made out of wire and covered with terry cloth. Out of the wire was a bottle of milk and there was a light bulb to keep the little one warm. But they found that the little ones were dying because little ones needed love.

Love is the one thing you cannot recreate with wire, terry cloth, and a light bulb. At some point in your life, someone held you in their arms, close to their heart. They had the look of love in their eyes and a truly open heart. This happened to every one of us; somebody somewhere along the line did this, and it was the greatest expression of love. You know how special it is, and you know how special it was in your life, whether this person was your natural mother, your adoptive mother, grandmother or relative.

You are here this morning as testimony to that holding. You are able to love because of the love you received. You learned how to love. It was a silent thing, but it was profound and it changed your life, and continues daily. There were times when you made lots of noise, but you were responded to and you were cared for. You were loved.

I want to share a story with you about two religions –

Religion #1:

A woman sat by her hearthside place
Reading her bible with a pleasant face,
‘Till a child came up with a childish frown,
Pushed the bible and said, “Put it down.”
Then the mother slapped his curly head and said,
“Troublesome child, go off to bed!
A great deal of God’s book I must know
To train you up as a child must go.”
The child went off to bed to cry
And denounced religion by and by.

Religion #2:

Another woman bent over a bible
With a smile of joy and an intent look,
‘Till a child came up and pressed on her knee
And said of the bible, “Put it down; take me.”
And then the mother sighed as she stroked his head
Saying softly, “I will never get this read.
But I’ll try by loving to learn God’s will,
And God’s love unto my child instill.”
That child went to bed without a sigh
And will love religion by and by.

The real religion, the only religion that counts (no matter what name we call it) is love. We always have to ask ourselves as a test for religion (which is a system of life) is how loving is this? We should carry our religion of love, no matter what we call it, into our homes, our lives, and our actions.

Whether we are female or male, we should allow that love to come forth from us, whether for something or someone very young, an adult, or someone that is very old that needs our love. We should always allow that wonderful aspect, the best aspect, of human love to come through us – the love, the magic, of motherhood.

Twenty some years ago, a lady came to a minister. She was very, very distressed. She sat in the minister’s office and she said that through a series of events her nephew was coming to live with her. She said to the minister, “I’ve never had any children, and I’m a harsh woman — I admit that. I don’t have the kind of love that I would want to give to a child. I’m scared. How can I, being harsh, hard, and stern in life, give love to this young boy?”

The minister said to her, “You have God’s love inside of you. If you consent to that God love coming through you, it will come through. It is the love of God that will equip you to love this child. If you allow yourself the privilege of having this love come through, it will come through.”

She said, “Yes, yes. But I was never created to do that. You don’t understand my nature. You see the good too much, preacher.”

The minister said, “No. I know that God love can come through you – if you let it.”

That was many years ago. Today that woman has a grown nephew. She was changed by that experience, and so was he. She was a great aunt; she was a wonderful mothering influence. But she didn’t become something; she allowed something to become her. We, each one of us, already are loving children of God. We just have to allow the nature that our mother allowed some time ago, to come through us. Why not do it in honor of mother? What greater honor of a mother than to express today in our lives some of the love she taught us how to express?

There’s a great story I want to share with you about this same idea. It is a story of an Arabian horse. As a young horse, he was orphaned. This Arabian foal was adopted by a family of camels. Every day he looked around and all he saw were other camels, so he decided that he was going to be the best camel he could be because he didn’t know he was an Arabian horse.

Daily through the hot sands of the desert he would carry heavy loads. He would drink at every oasis because he was so parched and thirsty. And every day he would put his hooves down into the sand and move slowly because that was the way a good camel was supposed to be.

One day, when he was very, very old, he looked out across the desert. From his weary eyes he saw an Arabian horse running in the distance on a sand dune. He said to himself, “That is the most beautiful animal I have ever seen in my life!” The shiny mane was flowing back from his head and neck. He said, “If I could only be like that.” He thought to himself, “Once, years ago I had the desire to run, leap high in the air and go over the sand dunes … ” but he quickly remembered his place as a camel. He died from old age never knowing what he really was.

The worst thing we can do in human life is to die not knowing what we are. Male or female, we are meant to love; we are meant to express God’s love. We are meant to cuddle little things, nurture, and cause great things to happen in individuals.

We are meant to celebrate life. According to Jesus Christ, the ultimate way to celebrate life is to love all, realizing we are one in the humanity with each other. Otherwise we’re doing a great disservice, to ourselves, but also to our mothers, because that is the way mom would want it to be.

Mom told us to play nice on the playground. She told us to treat other people well. We should never forget those lessons in our adult life.

Being Christian, we talk a lot about Jesus Christ. Perhaps we do not talk enough about His mother and the importance she played, not only in His ministry but in the formation of His life.

We have all heard the story that Jesus was born of a miraculous conception. I like that doctrine because there is a miraculous conception that is born many times in us, whether we are female or male.

For instance, if we feel we are at the end of our rope, if we have exhausted every idea in human mind, all of a sudden we get an idea from God that revolutionizes our life and changes us. We know the way to go. Without hesitation we go that way and we meet success.

It was an idea that we might not have ever deserved, yet it came. There was a Divine intervention in our life and God made our life livable again. It was a miraculous conception.

There are other times in our physical bodies when it appears we have no life in a certain area. Then all of a sudden God-life moves in and through us and it is as if we have had a miraculous conception. Truly we have. We have conceived something higher than ourselves.

Every mother who has ever conceived a child has conceived miraculously. You know that. When you were in the hospital and held that little one you could not help but to believe in God, love and power that is greater than ourselves.

“When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.” Sophia Loren

Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible.

Jesus’ first miracle says so much about his mother. The wedding at Cana [John 2:1-8, 11]. “On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.” I’m sure she was invited by the family because she knew them. Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding, but I’m sure they were invited because of Mary. “When the wine gave out, the mother of Jesus said to him, ‘They have no wine.’ And Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, what concern is that to you and to me? My hour has not yet come.'”

I don’t suggest you say to your mother, “Woman … ” But in Jesus’ day this was a very endearing term. It was saying, “Marvelous, marvelous lady.” But He was also saying what you’ve said to your mother many times: “Mom, I’m not ready yet. I can’t do this.”

You know what mom said to you. She said to you in various ways, “I believe in you. You, more than anybody else in the world, can take care of this problem. You’re my son/daughter and I believe in you and I know what you can accomplish with your life.” That’s what mom was saying to Jesus.

I’m sure there were many other things she said besides what is written down here. I’m sure He went on and on, for ten times, to his mother saying such things as, “Mom, there’s no way I can do this now.” Mary didn’t even listen to Him, just like your mother didn’t listen to you when you said “I can’t.”

“His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he tells you.’ Now standing there were six stone water jars for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to them, ‘Fill the jars with water.'” Keep in mind this was His first miracle.

You know how it was for you when you were producing your first miracle . . . like that first day on your new job when you felt so insecure. You just didn’t know if you had it in you to do what you had trained all these years to do. Yet this was the time. You had your mother calling and telling you, “I believe in you!”

“And they filled them up to the rim. He said to them, ‘Now draw some out, and take it to the chief steward.'” You know the rest of the story. They did and it was the finest wine they had ever tasted. It goes on to say, “and his disciples believed in him.” It doesn’t say that then Mary believed; she already knew, and believed. The disciples didn’t, but Mary did. Then at the end of the story it talks of how Jesus went with his mother to the next place they were going.

Jesus’ mother was so important to Him that the parting words on the Cross, almost the very last thing He said, was, “Woman, behold thy son, and behold thy mother.” He was looking out for his mother. He was getting someone to take care of his mother, whom He valued so highly. He was caring for her, even while He was in great pain.

Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “The real religion of the world comes from women much more than from men – from mothers most of all, who carry the key of our souls.”

There is a wonderful story of Abraham Lincoln when he was riding one day in a coach. There was a colonel from Kentucky with him. The colonel reached into his inside vest pocket and took out a container of whiskey. He said, “Here Mr. Lincoln, have a swig of whiskey.”

Mr. Lincoln said, “No sir; thank you. I never drink whiskey.”

They rode along a little while longer and the colonel reached into his other vest pocket and took out a big, long cigar and said, “Here Mr. Lincoln. Have a cigar.”

Mr. Lincoln said to the colonel, “No. I never smoke cigars.”

Then Mr. Lincoln said, “Let me tell you a story. When I was nine years of age, I was called to my mother’s bed. She held my hand and said, ‘Abe, the doctor tells me I’m very sick and I’m not going to get up from this bed. Dear boy, I want you to promise me something from my deathbed – that you will never smoke or drink.'” Abe Lincoln said to the colonel from Kentucky, “Now, would you wish at this time I break that promise?”

The colonel paused and said, “Oh no, dear kind sir. I would pay $1,000 if I had made that promise and kept it all these years. I would be a better man for it.”

Abraham Lincoln, when asked about his incredible strength, said, “I remember my mother’s prayers and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life.”

We’ve made many, many promises in our lifetime. Most of them have been to our mothers. And how many thoughts she had for us as she was raising us. How good it is to have a day to honor her and realize that she made us.

Whenever Alexander the Great was entertaining people in the palace, he would always put on a special gown that was woven for him by his mother. Every time we go out in public, we put on a gown that was woven for us by our mothers – not only the skin we have, the eyes, teeth, and hair, but also the way we act.

Perhaps over years we have forgotten some of the things that mom has taught us, but this is a day to remember. This is a day to go back and remember the very best of mom when she was at her best. We become our best by recalling and reliving her best.

The VERY BEST she taught was LOVE, by her example.

A man was talking with a woman and asked, “What do you do?” She said, “I’m just a mother.” This is what Theodore Roosevelt said about being “just a mother.”

“When all is said, it is the mother, and the mother only, who is a better citizen than the soldier who fights for his country. The successful mother, the mother who does her part in rearing and training aright the boys and girls who are to be the generation of men and women of the next generation, is of better use to the country if only she would realize it. A more honorable as well as a more important position than any man, the mother is the one supreme asset of national life. She is more important, by far, than the successful statesman, businessman, artist, or scientist.”

I have one more story to share with you that will touch you. It is an old Chinese story. Po Yu did wrong and he cried when his mother chastised him with a stick. “You never used to cry when I thrashed you,” said his mother. “Why do you cry today?”

He answered, “When I did wrong and you thrashed me, it always used to hurt. But this time mother’s strength is such that it did not hurt. That’s why I cry.”

Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.

Let us pray. Dear God, one of the most incredible gifts you ever gave me as a human being is my physical mother. I thank You for that incredible gift. I thank You for all the times we’ve spent together and all the lessons she shared with me. Every day I will make my life an example of her love, and in my life I will make her love very much alive and her life not wasted. Her love is the life I live.

I thank you, dear mother, for your love, patience, and incredible kindness hour after hour. For the life I have today, I give all credit to you.

In Jesus Christ’s name I pray … Amen.

PRAYER / MEDITATION__________________________________________

In this spiritual place of prayer there is love. In this spiritual place of prayer there is peace and harmony. Dear God, I pray that You will help me to fill my own mind with love, peace, and harmony. I declare, right now, my belief in You and in all others that You have created.

Help me, dear God, to make secure this belief in my mind. Make it so much a part of me that I begin to live it. I live it in my daily contact with others.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

Grant that there be given to me tolerance, understanding and forgiveness. I pray that I am able to love, like at no time before, the children of the Divine Presence everywhere – my brothers and my sisters.

I pray that I am never stopped in loving because of any failing I perceive with my human brain. And I pray that I am able to love myself and not be stopped because of my failings.

I am striving every day to overcome my failings. Dear God, I strive to overcome each through Your love which is perfect. Strengthen, therefore, my belief in You. Strengthen, therefore, my belief in others as I give expression to this belief in these words:

I believe in God.
I believe in one humanity; every man my brother, every woman my sister.
I believe in one common freedom of thought and expression established among all races and nations, and one world of unity and cooperation in one purpose of mutual love and understanding.
In this, to this end, I believe all may attain the one great goal in life – universal love, peace and happiness.

May we rest this moment in the love of God, in the silence.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

You enter into this day with joy and enthusiasm for you know God is with you. There is good in everything and you are able to find good in this day. You are part of the upward progressive movement of life. You call forth the best in yourself and others as you are a loving, understanding, and compassionate person. You are capable of carrying on your life. You are capable of rising out of sadness into light, life, and joy. You are light; hold these words deep in your being.

You let the light of God radiate through you in the silence of prayer …

Rest in the silence of prayer …

Dear God, how grateful I am for the earthly expression of our mother. We pray You will bless her now. If she is on this earthly plane or on another, we pray You will bless her. We know prayer is the language of Spirit and it is not limited by time or space.

We give thanks for the incredible privilege we have had to know our mother.

In Jesus Christ’s name we pray on this wonderful Mother’s Day … Amen.

Name: Theresa C - Date: May 3rd, 2022

Prayer Request: I resigned from the job because the employers did not fulfill their promise that they will give the rate that I want. I was expecting the $800 last April 30. But I didn’t get any. Now, we lack provisions. We have to move out of the city and go to another place. But we need renovation expenses and installation of utilities.May God provide all the funds that we need. I also pray that the buyers of the raw lands we are selling pay immediately because that can cover our financial needs for the moment. But if there is a flexible job for a PWD like me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, dear God! Jesus, please.

Positive Daily Inspiration – May 3, 2022 – Tuesday Prayer and Meditation

Positive Daily Inspiration - May 3, 2022 - Tuesday Prayer and Meditation

“In thy hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.”
First Chronicles 29:12

It is the holy time to stop the rushing in your life, stop for this holy moment the rushing of your thoughts.

Stop with me in prayer and make a new spiritual beginning. Take a new direction led by God. Touch the Spirit of God. Be in tune with the harmonizing power of God. Relax. Return to God, our Source found in silent prayer.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

We take this spiritual action because we need the renewal, the refreshment, the rebuilding that prayer affords. This is a time of quietness, a time of withdrawal, a time of contemplation and communion with God. We stop and we rest. We withdraw for a few moments from the outer pressures.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

In prayer, we are entering into a realm that will revive us and renew us.

This is a recharging time that will recharge us and make us able to do all the things that are before us to do, easily, perfectly, on time, and in order. In this moment, you are feeling the beginnings of a revitalization through the power of prayer. You are beginning to feel a recharging happening inside of you. It is like the plugging in of a light bulb into electric current.

We are charged with new life from our Source. We are in-filled and infused with spiritual power. When we find ourselves tense, anxious, and pressed for time, it is in a moment of calm contemplation of God Truth that we see ourselves as spiritual beings, where we can feel God’s presence, where we are lifted to new levels of thought and consciousness.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

We wish to live more creative, worthwhile, productive lives. We open our minds and hearts and lives to the light and guidance of God, and we are shown what is right and essential for us to do. We are given wisdom and we are given strength directly from God.

Positively decree aloud: I WORK WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD, AND I ACCOMPLISH ALL THINGS EASILY, PERFECTLY, ON TIME, AND IN ORDER. (repeat)

Rest in the silence of prayer …

With God’s help, we do the things that we need to do.

You are gaining a great sense of peace and freedom. You are finding, in this prayer time, that there is an order that is being established inside of you, in your thinking, and there is a new motivation of power coming from this spiritual recharging that will allow you to do all things with a sense of order and rightness. Divine order is happening in your thinking. We are in tune, and we are in Divine order within ourselves.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

Positively decree aloud: GOD’S DIVINE ORDER IS IN MY EVERY THOUGHT AND EVERY FEELING. DIVINE ORDER IS IN MY ATTITUDES. DIVINE ORDER IS IN MY ABILITY TO DISCERN NEEDED STEPS. DIVINE ORDER IS IN MY USE OF GOOD JUDGMENT.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

The power of God is at work in us. We are one with God’s power. We are channels through which God power flows. There is a Divine order in our lives right now. It is active in our thinking. It is active in our body temple, and it is in our trusting. You trust in the good outworking of God.

Because of your trust in God and in Divine order, you now have the courage to release anxiety.

Positively decree aloud: ANXIETY, I CAST YOU OUT IN JESUS CHRIST’S NAME. YOU NO LONGER CAN BE A PART OF MY CONSCIOUSNESS. TENSION, I CAST YOU OUT. YOU CAN NO LONGER BE A PART OF MY CONSCIOUSNESS. I EVICT YOU.

I NOW fill myself with the true knowing of the omnipresence of God. My belief is in the belief of ultimate goodness of God’s plan for me and for all of God’s creation. I know that Divine order is real; it is steady, and God is in charge. Not my will, but Thine be done in Divine order.

I have faith in the Spirit of God, the Spirit of good, the Spirit of love, at work in my life. The power of God with me, right this moment, is guiding me and giving me illumination. I am turning to God and God is turning to me, and I feel a power flowing through my awareness right now that I know is real. It is beyond anything that is outside of me. Divine order is occurring, and it is promoting growth and good and happiness.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

Divine order is happening in my life, establishing order, casting out the confused and the complex. This prayer is a catalyst to start positive changes in the right direction in my life. I am receptive; I am a receiver of all that is good. I believe in the power of Christ which is always at work in and through me, and through all circumstances and conditions. All things are working together for good because God loves me. Say that to yourself time and time again in this silence. God loves me …

Rest in the silence of prayer …

Positively decree aloud: GOD’S LAW OF ORDER IS AT WORK IN MY LIFE. I AM ESTABLISHED IN AN AWARENESS OF DIVINE ORDER, AND RIGHT OUTWORKINGS ARE FORTHCOMING.

We pray in the name and nature of Jesus Christ, with belief and expectancy.

Thank You God! Thank You … Amen.

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: I abide in the strength-giving presence of God. In God, I have sufficient strength for every need.

Positive Daily Inspiration – May 2, 2022 – The Hills Become Easy to Climb With God

Positive Daily Inspiration - May 2, 2022 - The Hills Become Easy to Climb With God

“I … remind you of these things, though you know them and are established in the truth that you have.”
2 Peter 1:12

You have had times in your life when you feel that you are ineffective and that your efforts are unfruitful. You may be concerned because of the direction that your life seems to be taking. At times like this you wonder if you are doing all that you should be doing.

The truth is that life consists of hills, valleys, and plateaus.

The hills become easy to climb with God.

The valleys become places to prepare again for God to take you to the mountaintop.

A plateau is your opportunity to use and practice your faith in God. Let us give thanks for this time of rest and renewal, for you can use this time to reflect on your blessings, to reassess your goals, to reorder your priorities, and to rethink your plans.

You are getting ready for positive change.

Perhaps you will want to forge an entirely new dream or be given new inspiration to reach an old one.

As you use the power that you receive in prayer, a new day dawns. The morning star rises, and your life becomes fruitful and fulfilling.

Experiences in growth need not be harsh. Your growth and unfoldment take place naturally when you meet changing conditions and circumstances with prayer.

It is only when we become blind to the fact that God is with us ALWAYS that our hills become hard to climb, our valleys become desperate wilderness experiences, and our plateaus seem never ending.

With prayer, you are able to meet changing conditions with the ease and grace.

There is no reason to fear, to force, or to resist, you are at peace.

God is with you, within you, and in and through all that concerns you–and that never changes!

God is changeless and eternal, and transforms every part of you and your life when you realize God’s mighty presence and power.

As you rely on the spirit of God, you grow through any change with ease and grace. You avoid rigidity in your thinking, and in your life, as you learn when to bend, when to let go, and when to quietly stand firm in your faith.

Your life is smooth and harmonious when you are FULLY aware of God’s help. Change becomes orderly and growth producing.

The spirit of God enables you to remain flexible and adaptable, and to grow through changing conditions with ease and grace.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

I pray today that I am peaceful and happy.
I know that my peace comes from within.
You give me the strength God, so I am not dependent on conditions or circumstances.
I achieve this peace now through this quiet prayer that attunes me to the Lord of my being.
I am filled with inner peace. I am free from doubts or disturbed thinking.
Through this prayer my mind is open and receptive to new ideas from You, that I may use to bring forth good results in my life.
Through this prayer, I look at myself with new vision.
I know that circumstances that I wish were different do not bring me peace – peace begins with me.
I feel thankful and blessed.

In Jesus Christ’s name … Amen

POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION: I am established in God. My peace comes from within.

Positive Daily Inspiration – April 30, 2022 – SATURDAY INSPIRATION

Positive Daily Inspiration - April 30, 2022 - SATURDAY INSPIRATION

(Submitted with our great thanks)

“God added God’s testimony by signs and wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit.”
Hebrews 2:4

The man whispered, “God, speak to me” and a meadowlark sang. But the man did not hear. So, the man yelled “God, speak to me!” And the thunder rolled across the sky. But the man did not listen. The man looked around and said, “God let me see you.” And a star shined brightly. But the man did not notice. And, the man shouted, “God show me a miracle!” And a life was born. But the man did not know. So, the man cried out in despair, “Touch me God and Let me know you are here!” Whereupon God reached down and touched the man. But the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on. Don’t miss out on a blessing because it isn’t packaged the way that you expect.

See the wonder today in the ordinary or in what you take for granted and thank God for it.
