Dear God, I pray that I am motivated and dedicated to manifesting complete harmony in my world. I ask You, God, to empower me and gift me with a presence of Divine harmony in and through me, so that I may give it away to others in my world. I know that I am one with You, God. Therefore I know that my request is heard and granted.

I pray that within my own mind and body there is harmony so that I may be fully empowered to go forward on this mission of love. I will be a peacemaker and a light for Your harmony every day and every place this year.

I choose to live my life in a higher way. I do not neglect the gift of time that You have given me to better my world and myself. I promise that I will use my time here on earth to create a new environment among peoples of all humanity.

In Jesus Christ’s name – Amen

” … I will open the windows of heaven for you and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”
Malachi 3:10

I am open and ready to receive my good from God. I no longer put self-imposed limits on how much that good can be. I accept God’s good Into my life right now.

I do not judge what I can have in the future by what I have had in the past. I believe in God’s good and I ask for a Divine revelation illuminating my mind causing it to expand to believe in greater good. I ask for the windows of heaven to be opened up in all areas and for the good of God to be made completely manifest here and now. I know that avenues of wide supply are mine for the claiming. I claim God’s good now.

I believe in miracles and I believe in Divine intervention and therefore I fully accept God coming in this moment to bring good into my life. Jesus says that, “The fields are white to the harvest now.” I claim my harvest and accept my good of God’s wondrous supply. God’s good rains on my life in a continuous sweet outpouring of love. I accept complete health in my physical body and human brain.

I accept the fact that I will not remain the same and am open to change for the better. I accept the fact that I will not hold myself back. I willingly move forward to accept the good of God. I will live God’s life realizing it is God’s will for my life to be surrounded and infilled with good and love. I accept God’s good now. I accept God’s love now.

I do not limit God. I do not limit myself as God’s child. I do not limit my life because my life is continually filled with God’s provision. God is the source of my supply and I accept it now. As I accept God’s good, I realize that I do not take good from anyone else. God’s supply is abundant and enough for everyone equally. With God’s help, and true faith, I expand my mind to a greater realization of what it means to be an heir of God.

God is the creator of my physical body, mind and life. God creates a wonderful life, in my life, and I accept that life now. In all areas of my mind, in my free-will, I say yes to God. I say yes to God’s provision. I say yes to God’s good. I say yes to God’s love. I agree to walk the higher path of the spiritual life. I will enjoy the sweetness of the good that You provide dear God. I consent fully to God’s guidance and direction. I am willing God to have Your Divine action in every aspect and area of my life. I consent to ever-expanding dynamic movement of perfection into my mind and daily living. I pray that I am a magnet charged with Divine energy to draw my good to me.

I pray that I do not struggle within myself trying to hold on to old ways of human thinking and human doing. I willingly allow in my free-will a Divine supersedence of any lower human limitation that I have placed on my life by holding that limited thought in my mind. I agree to be lifted out of the self-imposed prisons of lack that I have claimed through worry and fear. I pray that I have an abundance of understanding in mind.

Your guidance will continually lead me on to a better life. I promise to be a good steward of the provision that is provided for me. I swear to You dear God that I will not hoard or confine the good to myself. I will share and uplift others in the way that You have uplifted me. I also swear an oath that I will live my life as an example of being Your apostle. As You increase the velocity of my life, I also pray that You will equip me so that I will remain in peace no matter what changes are happening around me. I will no longer believe that my good that is coming to me today will end tomorrow. I believe in God’s good ever-expanding, increasing and multiplying daily. I realize that I have many avenues for my good to come to me but only one source. God, You are the permanent source of my abundance.

I will not limit myself in the workplace because You are with me and you are limitless. I accept any good that comes my way including promotions or job offers. I agree to come to You first in prayer with any offer that I receive so that we can discuss the proper direction of movement for our future. I will willingly go where You lead because I realize that wherever You lead I am going to meet with a better life than before. As wonderful as today is, the best is yet to be. The best of my life is ahead of me not behind me. I do not live my life by looking in the rear view mirror. I look forward with great expectation and anticipation.

I believe, I have faith, and I have a knowing in Your power to bring greater good into my life. I live today filled with hope, expecting and accepting the good of God. I believe in positive outcomes and positive surprises.

“Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”
John 7:24

Do not shrink away from life, you can meet it with courage, when you meet it with God.

If situations in life appear to be negative, you can rest assured that a higher order, a Divine order, is active, even if it is invisible to you in this present moment. Facts change but new doors of God given good are opening to you.

From day-to-day, circumstances in life change. Life is never stagnant. Today is different from yesterday; and tomorrow holds new opportunities to learn and grow. Do not shrink away from life, meet it with courage – meet it with God’s ever-present help.

Although situations change, God’s order is eternal and changeless. Divine order includes abundant health and prosperity, loving relationships, and joy in your life and living.

If something is unpleasant, it will pass. You understand that situations are temporary, but God’s Divine order is always present and active. You are open and receptive to Divine order today. You let go of any tendency to focus on disruptive facts, and you recognize God’s help.

In Psalms 27:1, the Bible states, “The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Wherever you are, wherever you go today, you know that God is with you, protecting and supporting you. There is no place you can be where God is not. There is no condition that God cannot heal; no challenge that God cannot guide you through safely. The knowledge that you are never alone gives you courage to meet whatever comes your way.

You know that God provides you with all the strength you will ever need. Divine intelligence is active in and through you, helping you to make right decisions with right judgment.

God is with you all the time in both the valley, and mountaintop experiences. When you are aware that you are standing with God, your viewpoint is clear and unclouded. Because you act in positive ways, you are part of the permanent solution rather than part of the temporary problem.

There is a Divine order in your life, God is always with you, protecting and guiding you.

Happy Grandparent’s Day

GRANDPARENTS

(Taken from papers written by a class of 8-year-olds)

Grandparents are a lady and a man who have no little children of her own. They like other people’s kids. A grandfather is a man, and a grandmother is a woman.

Grandparents don’t have to do anything except be there when we come to see them. They are so old they shouldn’t play hard or run. It is good if they drive us to the store and have lots of quarters for us.

When they take us for walks, they slow down past things like pretty leaves and caterpillars.

They show us and talk to us about the color of the flowers and also why we shouldn’t step on “cracks.”

They don’t say, “Hurry up.”

Usually grandmothers are fat, but not too fat to tie your shoes.

They wear glasses and funny underwear.

They can take their teeth and gums out.

Grandparents don’t have to be smart.

They have to answer questions like, “Why isn’t God married?” and “How come dogs chase cats?”

When they read to us, they don’t skip. They don’t mind if we ask for the same story over again.

Everybody should try to have a grandmother, especially if you don’t have television, because they are the only grown ups who like to spend time with us.

They know we should have snack-time before bedtime and they say prayers with us every time, and kiss us even when we’ve acted bad.

A 6 year old was asked where his grandma lived. “Oh,” he said, “she lives at the airport, and when we want her we just go get her. Then when we’re done having her visit, we take her back to the airport.”

Send this to other grandparents. It will make their day!!

Each year he sent her roses, and the note would always say,

I love you even more this year, than last year on this day.

My love for you will always grow, with every passing year.’

She knew this was the last time that the roses would appear.

She knew he ordered roses in advance before this day.

Her loving husband did not know that he would pass away.

He always liked to do things early, way before the time.

Then, if he got too busy, everything would work out fine.

She trimmed the stems and placed them in a very special vase.

Then sat the vase beside the portrait of his smiling face.

She would sit for hours in her husband’s favorite chair.

While staring at his picture and the roses sitting there.

A year went by, and it was to live without her mate.

With loneliness and solitude that had become her fate.

Then, the very hour, the doorbell rang, and there were roses by her door.

She brought the roses in and just looked at them in awe.

She went to get the telephone to call the florist shop.

The owner answered and she asked him if he would explain,

Why would someone do this to her, causing her such pain?

The owner said “I know your husband passed away more than a year ago,

I knew you’d call, and you would want to know.

The flowers you received today were paid for in advance.

Your husband always planned ahead, he left nothing to chance.

There is a standing order that I have on file down here,

And he has paid, well in advance; you’ll get them every year.

There is another thing I think that you should know,

He wrote a special little card … he did this years ago.

Then, if ever I should find that he’s no longer here,

This is the card that should be sent to you the following year.”

She thanked him and hung up the phone, her tears now flowing hard.

Her fingers shook as she slowly reached to get the card.

Inside she saw that he had written her a little note.

Then she stared in total silence as she read what he wrote …

‘Hello my love, I know it’s been a year since I’ve been gone.

I hope it hasn’t been too hard for you to overcome.

I know it must be lonely and the pain is very real.

And if it was the other way I know how I would feel.

The love we shared made everything so beautiful in life.

I loved you more than words can say, you were the perfect wife.

You were my friend and lover, you fulfilled my every need.

I know it’s only been a year, but please try not to grieve.

I want you to be happy even when you shed your tears.

And that is why the roses will be sent to you for years.

When you get these roses think of all the happiness we shared.

I have always loved you and I know I always will.

But, my love, you must go on you have some living still.

Please … try to find some happiness while living out your days.

I know it won’t be easy, but I hope you find a way.

The roses will come every year and they will only stop,

When your door is not answered when the florist stops to knock.

He will call five times that day, in case you have gone out.

But after his last visit he will know with-out a doubt!

He will take the roses to the place where I’ve instructed him.

And place the roses where we are together once again.”

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven.”
Luke 6:37

There comes a time in every life when a person must decide what type of person they want to be for the rest of their life. Decide to become a better person. This is a soul choice, which hopefully you will make to permanently better yourself.

Today you decide to become a better person.

You are not locked into who you were yesterday. The true grace of God is that we are not held in a prison of yesterday. God’s will for you is to expand and become the best person that you can be. Life is not meant to be stagnant and true spirituality will bring growth to your soul.

Growth experiences do not have to be painful. Many times, we have chosen as human beings to grow through attending the school of hard knocks.

Many times, we have refused to move until hit by the cosmic two by four of life. Today let’s expand our spiritual growth by consciously consenting to it. We take Jesus’ words in Luke and decide to live this day by striving to manifest the perfection of this teaching in our daily life.

Today you do not judge others in regard to their guilt or innocence. You consider yourself and how you stand in the sight of God. Reform begins with yourself. You do not condemn anyone in your life today. You do not condemn anyone on television, or in the news. You do not condemn the other political party, or others of different religious views. Today you actively pardon everyone that you have put into prison in your mind. You forgive and release all the captives of opinion and judgment. Today you also forgive yourself for all mistakes made in the past so that you can be free to seek the full perfection of God’s love.

You can change the world directly through a chain reaction of good that starts with your thinking and your actions. You start with yourself. You start with a happy thought to lift your own spirits. You start with one smile, one word of encouragement, one sincere expression of appreciation, and lift the spirits of those around you. You behold God’s goodness in someone with whom you have been at cross purposes. You extend a helping hand to someone who really needs a friend. You cease being afraid to love your enemies. You practice peace within.

You stop judging, you stop resisting, and you begin to see God’s goodness in all people and in all situations, everywhere.

TRAIN OF THOUGHT

“Happy is the person who finds wisdom, and the person who gets understanding.”
Proverbs 3:13

You can control your thinking by changing the direction of the head locomotive thought, a long train of thoughts will follow the chief good thought. This will uplift you as it runs continuously through your mind.

I have taken trains in the United States and overseas. There is something special about train travel. It is a leisurely trip with picture windows that show a panorama of the beauty of our world.

There is always an argument that European trains are better, more up-to-date and more luxurious.

That got me to thinking.

The greatest transportation system in your world is your train of thought. It can and will carry you wherever you direct it to go. Trains of thought have destinations as clearly discernible as those scheduled on a railway timetable. Right now, your train of thought is carrying you on to destinations that you have consciously or unconsciously chosen in the past are choosing now, and will choose, or modify, or change completely in the future.

There is always an initial thought that is like a locomotive. The locomotive always has other thoughts waiting to link to it, soon you have a long, long, long train of thought that runs continuously in circles inside of your mind, and creates conditions in your life leading to desired, or undesirable destinations.

If you are really interested in the destination which you are headed, you can invite your train of thought to come in to your awareness. A train of thought filled with separation, fear, resentment, guilt, condemnation, deprecation has readily predictable destinations; illness, depression, unhappiness, deteriorating relationships, depleted energy are all unhappy destinations such a train of thought unfolds.

A train of thought filled with love, joy, faith, forgiveness, praise, and thanksgiving clearly shows it is headed for bright, joyous destinations; health, prosperity, happiness, fulfilling relationships, new energies, and freedom are readily predictable destinations.

When you realize that you are on a train of thought headed for a destination you do not want, it is your God-given privilege to change trains.

There are always stations along the way in your own mind, where you can make the switch in your train of thought. The process might be described in words like these:

“I realize I am on a train of thought that’s headed for a destination where I have no desire to go. I will simply get off this train and board a train headed for a destination to my greater liking. I am created in the image of God, and I have no business on a train of thought headed for a destination that is unhealthy for me.”

Then praise and give thanks, rejoice and be glad, as you acquaint yourself with the contents of your new train and keep your faith and attention on your new destination.

If you find yourself momentarily back on the former train, you can simply make the switch again. Your new train of thought will soon be much more attractive to you than the old one ever was, and you will be underway to your new destination.

If you have ever been on an inferior train of thought long enough to have reached an unpleasant, unhealthy, or otherwise undesirable destination, there is always a happy choice available to you. You can simply board a new train of thought that gets you out of there as fast as possible and moves you toward a more desirable destination.

A bit of inner conversation like the following might be a marvelous step toward a better destination.

“This is no place for me, a human being created in the image of God. So I now board a train of thought that gets me out of this predicament and moves me into a healthier, happier, richer, more fulfilling destination.”

The greatest transportation system in your world has the capacity to move you to the greatest destination of all: oneness with God.

Any lesser destination is only temporary, and the sooner you board the train that brings you into an awareness of God’s ever-present help, the less likely you are to be on trains of thought that lead to undesirable destinations.

The place or a situation where you are now is relatively unimportant if you are willing to board the train of thought that carries you to your greatest destination, God.

We pray today for you – that ALL your journeys are great ones.

With every commercial that you see on TV comfort is a popular word. Advertisers tell you the value of comfortable clothes, comfortable shoes, comfortable furniture, comfortable automobiles, and even “comfort” foods.

Genuine comfort, the kind of inner peace and contentment we all desire, cannot be purchased at a store.

Lasting comfort begins in your heart and it comes directly from God.

Where do you go to find comfort today? Are you seeking the kind of comfort the world promises but so often fails to deliver?

I’m not preaching; I have gone down that path many times trying to find comfort in automobiles or on the newest thing advertised on an infomercial.

Instead, now wisely we are seeking inner peace and comfort that freely flows from our loving Creator.

Seek God today. When you do, God will comfort you all day long.

In the quietness of your soul, you can turn to God for any strength or reassurance that you may need. As you listen, God speaks to you in a language your mind and heart can hear.

Here is what God says to you:

“Walk with Me, My child, and draw upon My strength. The path you follow is one I have created for you, so you need not fear what lies ahead. I will be with you every moment through every turn and seeming twist, and I will lead you to a place of quiet solitude where you will find the comfort you seek.

“From the moment you first entered life, I was part of you and always will be. There are no limits to what I am and can do, and because you are My beloved child, all that I have is yours.”

Today, through your quiet talks with God, you will be profoundly comforted. In the quietness of your soul, you will gain peace of mind and true strength of spirit that will stay with you.

Let us pray:

My own spiritual Self, be Thou quickened in me. Let me awaken to God’s light. Let God’s help illumine my mind, cleansing all doubt and unbelief. Let God fill my heart, cleansing and purifying until there is no darkness and no unforgiveness.

In the silence of prayer …

Let new spiritual power radiate in and through my body temple, healing, renewing, and restoring every atom, cell, organ, and function until my body glows with life.

Let Your help God flood my affairs, lifting them into the light of Your omnipresence.

Let Your love God harmonize all my relationships until love reigns supreme.

Let Your ideas God prosper, multiply, and magnify the good until I have plenty to spare and to share.

Let Your illumination God shine on my path, showing me the way to go and to be.

In the silence of prayer …

Dear God, let this day be a joyous realization that You are all I need and all I desire. Let me so attune myself to Your glory that it shines through me as a blessing to everyone in my life. I pray that Your love will flood my entire consciousness, and I will be free from all that would hinder or block me.

Dear God, activate in my mind/body, my thoughts and feelings, so there is nothing but You. Dear God, I would be one with You. Expand my awareness, and make me ever conscious of You in all I think, feel, and do.

This day, find me in a deeper, higher, and more illumined consciousness. I would have no will but Yours, no judgment but Yours, no way but Yours. Let hope, peace, love, and joy reign supreme, and joy be mine forever and ever.

In the silence of prayer …

For this holy feast of hope, and great expectation, we let the power of our imaginations cast blessings on all the events of the days ahead.

We dedicate ourselves as channels for the coming of the grace and truth of the Christ upon the earth.

We ask God’s blessings on our homes. We invite the prospering activity of the Holy Spirit to bless our homes with warmth, order, and love.

We ask God’s special blessings for children – their dreams, their hopes, their joy. We bless our children, and behold in them the pure joy and beauty of Christ love.

We ask the blessings of Divine graciousness on the direction of our lives. Divine love graciously and lavishly supplies the beauty living.

We ask God’s guidance to aid in the selection of the choices we will make in thing and in actions. Divine intelligence guides us in the living of our lives. We give lovingly, and we receive graciously.

Rest in the silence of prayer, in the glorious silence of God …

We ask for God’s presence to be at all gatherings of friends and families during this week. We know that Divine love will bring harmony, healing love, and enjoyment wherever two or more are gathered in God’s name this week.

We ask the peace of the Christ to manifest in the world this week. The Christ of peace expresses from every human heart, and earth rejoices in the spirit of brotherhood, sisterhood, and our oneness with God.

We ask God’s blessings on the lights of our lives. We pray that the lights illumine hearts of people everywhere.

Thank You, dear God, for the spiritual beauty of this week.

Rest again, in the glorious silence of prayer …

For the hope of this week, and the awareness of God’s help as never before, we give thanks.

In Jesus Christ’s name … Amen.
