Let us pray:

How wonderful to know that God is here.

Now the natural human living in lower mind, receives not, the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto them, and they can’t know them because they are spiritually judged.

You now enter into a special house, NOT made with hands. You enter into a special house made with thoughts and words. This special house is your eternal inheritance. And by intuition, you become guided to the shining light of a stage inside of you that is well, happy, strong, and noble.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

The real mind in your human mind opens. Your true self, that philosophers have so long said could be free inside of you, shows itself in all its glory with purified wisdom, strength, and holiness.

You are about to see the glory of God’s good. You are about to lay a hold of God’s good with great words of welcome.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

Today, there is a fusion of your human mind and Divine mind. Something is stirring inside of you. There is a welding, a binding together, of your human mind and Divine mind. There is a true fusion taking place. You have that Mind inside of you that was inside Christ Jesus.

Inside of your mind, you are able to see things on the great high point of the Divine. You are able to say, clearly, with your mouth and your tongue, truth as it comes to your mind. Your words are going to take on an added power. Your words are going to take on a God-given Divine power of God speak.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

In the Bible it states, “Take with you words, and return unto Jehovah.” There is a shining forth inside of you of truth. A still, silent voice that speaks loudly in the inner recesses of your mind empowers you with all power.

You have an inner knowing that God is with you this moment. You are attending a welcome into a new state of consciousness, a new way of thinking, and a new way of positive speaking.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

You are entering a new life, gladly and freely. With total consent of your human self, you are walking across the threshold and through the doorway into this new life.

There is a shining, God-given essence that comes forth from you. There is a light that is beaming across your world. The God light is the vibratory power of your spoken word. There is a new power behind your voice. There is a new power empowering you as you listen.

You know the Truth. You SPEAK the Truth. Only steady, shining Truth will accomplish all that you wish to accomplish. And it is coming forth. You agree, this moment, not to divide your mind with doubt. You agree, this moment, not to divide your thought with sense. You agree, at this moment, to be stable in all ways, in thinking and speaking. You will no longer use the mouth to gossip, ridicule or talk negatively. You make this commitment now to God to use your voice for uplifting God speak.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

Through the power of Jesus Christ, I dedicate my mouth, my tongue, and my vocal chords to a higher standard of life in me, and in those around me, in the situations of my life. My voice, and the vibratory power, coming forth from it will be dedicated to the glory of God. Every word I utter will be for Truth and God.

In the joy of doing this, in Jesus Christ’s name … Amen.

There is a book that has been quite popular; it is called “Conversations with God.” I have enjoyed this book, but it leads me to ask a question of you, today.

What kind of conversation do you carry on with yourself?

What are you saying to yourself, right now? You may say, “I do not go around talking to myself.” You may not think that you do, but you are continually telling yourself all kinds of things. These inner conversations are, of course, the thoughts you are thinking, the responses you are making, the attitudes you are accepting and projecting to others.

If you find that your inner conversation with yourself is quite negative, you have the power to change and to think differently.

You can change your life by changing the way you think, and feel. You are doing this, day by day, thought by thought, as you watch the kind of conversation you have with yourself. When you replace any tendency in thought to be negative or fearful, or even depressed, with positive, healing, powerful spiritual reminders of who you are with God, you turn around, and raise your thinking.

This is the original, first-century, Christianity meaning of the word “repent.” If you are ever tempted to say to yourself that something looks impossible, turn your thinking around and say to yourself, “I have faith that with God’s help, there is a way for this situation to be solved for the blessing and benefit of everyone.” This is the kind of conversation with yourself that will help you get rid of worry and anxiety. This kind of positive, self-conversation will help you release the situation into God’s care, and to know that in ways which may not now be apparent, right solution is coming into your life with God’s speed.

Any time you find yourself thinking in terms of weakness or ill health, change your thoughts to positive prayers of life and healing. The very cells of your body will listen and accept God’s ideas of life and strength. Thinking in this way: “I know and believe that the healing, renewing life of God is in me, right now. I am the healthy, free, perfect child of God. The life of God in me, that created me in the beginning, is re-creating me – healing, restoring and renewing every part. I live well, in the eternal life of God.”

Sometimes, a person will carry on conversations with themselves that downgrade their own worth and ability. They may think of themselves as lacking in ability, and even, more often, as inferior to others. No matter how capable we are, or how much we are appreciated by other people, the kind of thoughts that we are thinking about ourselves will tend to negate it, at least in our own mind.

As each person has a unique fingerprint and unique DNA, so each person is unique in the artistry of God.

When self-doubt enters our internal conversation that we are holding with ourselves, say instead: “God created me as me. I like myself. I am the all-wise, all-loving, all-conquering child of God. I reign supreme in all the affairs of mind and body.”

Certainly, a conversation like this is a far cry from thoughts of inferiority and unworthiness. But it is also the truth of God about us. Jesus told us this was the truth about us. The more we think about and affirm our spiritual nature, the more able we are to express this nature, to be the kind of person we were created to be. God created us in God’s own image and likeness – and God loves us!

“The mind of error-filled human is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.”
Romans 8:5-7

If you find yourself speaking conversations to yourself of being down and depressed, talk to yourself in terms of joy. You will be surprised, even shocked, at how fast you will be able to turn it around. It is not natural for you to be down or depressed. Everything in you responds to thoughts and ideas that lift your thinking, that turn your thoughts away from darkness, that help you, like the Psalmist, to lift up your eyes unto the hills.

What kind of conversation are you carrying on with yourself? What are you saying to yourself right now? Make it a good conversation, make it a true conversation, for the kind of ideas you give yourself, the kind of ideas you listen to, make all the difference in the kind of person you are, and in the kind of experiences you have. Keep your mind stayed on God; keep your mind stayed on God’s truth, thought by thought. Let your inner conversation be as with the Christ.

Never put yourself down, instead LIFT yourself UP in every inside conversation.

Dear God, You have heard my call, and I feel the assurance of Your answer. In the silence of my soul, I listen to the still, small voice that speaks volumes to me and leads me to a realm of endless possibilities in a world of great potential.

A man goes to a party and has too much to drink. His friends plead with him to let them take him home. He says no – he only lives a mile away.

About five blocks from party, the police pull him over for weaving and ask him to get out of the car and walk the line. Just as he starts, the police radio blares out a notice of a robbery taking place in a house just a block away.

The police tell the party animal to stay put, they will be right back and they hop a fence and run down the street to the robbery.

The guy waits and waits and finally decides to drive home. When he gets there, he tells his wife he is going to bed, and to tell anyone who might come looking for him that he has the flu and has been in bed all day.

A few hours later the police knock on the door. They ask if Mr. X is there and his wife says yes. They ask to see him, and she replies that he is in bed with the flu and has been so all day.

The police have his driver’s license. They ask to see his car and she asks why. They insist on seeing his car, so she takes them to the garage and opens the door where they find the police car, lights still flashing.

My inconclusive travel plans:

I have been in many places, but I’ve never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can’t go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.

I’ve also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.

I have, however, been in Sane. They don’t have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my kids, and my work.

(Now I think I live there.)

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I’m not too much into physical activity anymore.

I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.

I’ve been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.

Sometimes I’m in Capable, and I go there more often as I’m getting older.

One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the heart!

A voyaging ship was wrecked during a storm at sea and only two of the men on it were able to swim to a small, desert-like island.

The two survivors, not knowing what else to do, agreed that they had no other recourse but to pray to God. However, to find out whose prayer was more powerful, they agreed to divide the territory between them and stay on opposite sides of the island.

The first thing they prayed for was food. The next morning, the first man saw a fruit-bearing tree on his side of the land, and he was able to eat its fruit. The other man’s parcel of land remained barren.

After a week, the first man was lonely, and he decided to pray for a wife. The next day, another ship was wrecked, and the only survivor was a woman who swam to his side of the land. On the other side of the island, there was nothing.

Soon, the first man prayed for a house, clothes, more food. The next day, like magic, all of these were given to him. However, the second man still had nothing.

Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that he and his wife could leave the island. In the morning, he found a ship docked at his side of the island. The first man boarded the ship with his wife and decided to leave the second man on the island. He considered the other man unworthy to receive God’s blessings, since none of his prayers had been answered.

As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from heaven booming, “Why are you leaving your companion on the island?”

“My blessings are mine alone, since I was the one who prayed for them,” the first man answered. “His prayers were all unanswered and so he does not deserve anything.”

“You are mistaken!” the voice rebuked him. “He had only one prayer, which I answered. If not for that, you would not have received any of my blessings.”

“Tell me,” the first man asked the voice, “what did he pray for that I should owe him anything?”

“He prayed that all your prayers be answered.”

For all we know, our blessings are not the fruits of our prayers alone, but those of another praying for us.

God reigns & brings Peace!

The world cannot always understand God, armies cannot defeat God, the schools cannot explain God, & the leaders cannot ignore God.

God is Light, Love, Longevity!

God is Goodness, Kindness, Gentleness!

God is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, & pure!

The life of God, which is the source of all life, flows in and through your body temple. You rejoice to know that the perfect life of God is expressing perfection in you.

Today, you see the perfection of God expressed in and through you. Every cell is alive and functioning in accordance with the perfection of your Creator. Every organ is operating, smoothly and harmoniously, as it performs its unique, God-given task. Every muscle expands and contracts so that it can move with grace and ease. Every bone is strong and perfect. Your mind thinks clearly, comprehends, and understands all things, old and new.

You stand straight and tall. You walk with confidence and strength. You ask God’s blessing on all that you eat, and your body is wisely nourished. The perfect rhythm of God helps you to balance activity with rest and work with recreation. You sleep soundly and awake refreshed. Your body temple expresses the perfection of God’s life.

You center your faith in the presence of God. Your Divine responsibility is to stand firm in faith, to see God at work in every condition, and in every life. As you do so, you become the channel through which the light of God shines and the love of God flows.

You are not only healed in your body, but you are healed in your emotions and spirit.

In Psalms 34:18, our Bible states, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit.”

God is mighty to heal the grieving heart. Peace and comfort come to you as you trust in God and take refuge in God. Where there is sadness or grief, God gives an abiding inner joy. Where there is a sense of loss or separation, God gives the quiet realization of God’s restoring Spirit and an awareness of better times ahead. God comforts the brokenhearted with God’s love and wipes away every tear. God is so powerful to heal the heart that turns to God in prayer.

God is mighty to uplift the downcast. God encourages you and inspires you, right now, to rise above your yesterdays and move ahead to accept the opportunities for good that await you in this new moment. God imbues you with courage and gives you new strength. With revitalized faith and an uplifted spirit, you can begin again.

So, if you’re wondering why you feel so secure, understand this … God said it & that settles it.

GOD is in control, you are on God side, & that means all is well with your spirit.

Every day is a blessing for GOD Is!

STRONGHOLD OF MY LIFE

“The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Have you ever been afraid? Have you ever been apprehensive for any reason, concerning yourself, loved ones, or world situations?

We know how corrosive such emotions can be to our peace of mind. It is a wonderful relief to realize that the Lord is the stronghold of our lives, and that there is NOTHING to fear.

By holding to positive, faith building prayers, we overcome fearful, apprehensive thoughts.

Dear friend, you are capable of casting out fear, for you are one with the Spirit of the Lord. Remind yourself of this, throughout this day. Build into your prayer time the faith and fortitude needed to meet life courageously.

Two of the most important words for every spiritual person to learn are GOD FIRST.

You put God first in your life.

The little child lost in the woods at night glimpses his father and his tears stop and he instantly knows all will be all right. In the same way we no longer have to feel lost because God can lead us out of the wilderness that we may feel in life.

No matter how busy you may seem to be, your most important priority on any day is to spend time with God. By staying centered in God, you can do what you need to do. You discover order and you are equipped in the day to do great things.

How do you begin each day with God? First thing in the morning you close your eyes and turn your awareness to God. This simple act followed by prayer prepares you for the day’s activities.

Throughout the day, you return your thoughts to God, so that during all activity you remain calm and alert. You have complete faith in God, so you remain peaceful no matter what the outer circumstances may be.

Putting God first keeps you balanced and harmonious at all times. With God as your first priority, you know that the events in your life will be led by God to bless and enrich you and others.

With God guiding you, you are able to take charge of your day, your mind and body. You are renewed in strength and enjoy peace of mind as you follow a divine daily plan.

Through your faith in God, you are led to accomplish great things. You are able to release old negative thoughts and emotions and they are quickly replaced with thoughts of life, love and true happiness.

God guides you in the choices small and large leading to the most beneficial life path to follow. You will be healed, integrated, and rejuvenated as you place God first.

It doesn’t matter who you were yesterday – it matters who you are this moment.
2 Corinthians 5:17 promises, “If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old is passed away; see, everything has become new.”

Do not allow yesterday’s pain to cloud today’s opportunity.

Make a sign to keep in front of you of GOD FIRST! Remind yourself that as you follow God every moment of every day you are guaranteed of victory and success.

Listen to the sound of your breath. You hear the breath of life, and you feel the breath of God’s Spirit. Sense the presence of God with you. The energy of God’s Spirit now nurtures and strengthens you.

Listen in the silence of prayer …

Feel the love of your heart, and know that you are in the heart of God and loved. Experience centeredness, and feel immersed in the activity and life of God. You live in the midst of God, and good appears in every desirable form.

You acknowledge the importance of God in your life. You acknowledge the importance of others in your life. You honor the truth that we have a spiritual heritage and a brotherhood and sisterhood with all people.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

We are spirits of integrity, expressing through form and action. We are learning to know ourselves and others. We are growing in wisdom and honor.

Dear God, now that I am in touch with everything good within myself, I am able to honor it in others. I rejoice in the unity of our common family of humankind. We are enriched by each other. Life experiences are small parts of a larger pattern. Like petals on a flower, they contribute to a greater design. Life is a many-petaled flower.

God’s energy and God’s power nurture life. It moves beyond any barriers. It rises to new heights as it opens to the warmth of God’s sunlight. You declare that your life is now a partnership with God. I am a positive influence, a God-filled influence to everyone in my world.

I decree, in Jesus Christ’s name, that you are a positive, God-filled influence in your world. I pray that everywhere you go, you go with the power of God. There was once a man and woman who had been married for more than 60 years. They had shared everything. They had talked about everything. They had kept no secrets from each other except that the little old woman had a shoebox in the top of her closet that she had cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about.

For all of these years, he had never thought about the box, but one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would not recover. In trying to sort out their affairs, the little old man took down the shoe box and took it to his wife’s bedside. She agreed that it was time that he should know what was in the box.

When he opened it, he found two crocheted doilies and a stack of money totaling $25,000. He asked her about the contents. “When we were to be married,” she said, “my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you, I should just keep quiet and crochet a doily.”

The little old man was so moved, he had to fight back tears. Only two precious doilies were in the box. She had only been angry with him two times in all those years of living and loving. He almost burst with happiness.

“Honey,” he said, “that explains the doilies, but what about all of this money? Where did it come from?”

“Oh,” she said, “that’s the money I made from selling the doilies.”

As Mom was preparing pancakes for her sons, Johnny, 5, and Alex, 3, the boys began to argue over who would get the first pancake. The Mom saw the opportunity to teach a moral lesson.

She said, “If Jesus were sitting here, He would say ‘Let my brother have the first pancake, I can wait.'”

Johnny quickly turned to his younger brother and said, “Okay, Alex, you be Jesus!”

A Sunday School teacher was testing the children in her Sunday school class to see if they understood the concept of getting to heaven.

She asked them, “If I sold my house and my car, had a big garage sale and gave all my money to the church, would that get me into Heaven?”

“NO!” the children answered.

“If I cleaned the church every day, mowed the yard, and kept everything neat and tidy, would that get me into Heaven?”

Again, the answer was, “NO!”

By now the teacher was starting to smile. Hey, this was fun!

“Well, then, if I was kind to animals and gave candy to all the children, and loved my husband, would that get me into Heaven?” she asked them again.

Again, they all answered, “NO!”

She was just bursting with pride for them.

Well, she continued, “Then how can I get into Heaven?”

A five-year-old boy shouted out,

“YOU GOTTA BE DEAD.
