“Restore me to health and make me live!”
Isaiah 38:16

If you are needing healing, know that God, your Creator, is the great healer.

What can you do when you are confronted with disturbing reports or symptoms of ill health? You can refuse to give consent to them. You can hold steadfastly to the idea of Divine perfection and protection. Created in the image and likeness of God, you have within you all that is necessary for your wholeness.

As you affirm in prayer that the life of God is your healer, you are set free from undue concern. God is always with you in God’s power and might, ready to protect, but also ready to restore.

God will inspire others working with you through their minds and their hands to bring about a total restoration of health.

Every day of Jesus’ Ministry was spent in uplifting and healing people – especially people that human beings thought could not be healed. Was healing just in Jesus’ day? No, healing from God is just as real, today, as it was 2,000 years ago.

Your faithful realization of your oneness with God, gives you release from fear and discomfort. You find that as you continue in positive prayer, holding always before you an image of wholeness, your healing is made manifest.

A powerful healing work is begun the instant you place yourself in God’s care, trusting totally in the healing of every distress or discord. Your concern is replaced with praise for God’s loving spirit with you, right now. God is mighty to heal and powerful enough to meet your every need, even before you ask.

God created you to express life, and that is what you do when you realize that the Divine life is at the very core of your being.

Life – healing life – surges from every atom of your body. You are alive with the life of God, and you feel energized and strong.

Any concern dissolves quickly when you understand that God intended you to live life fully. God formed your body to express health and wholeness, to work efficiently throughout your entire lifetime. So you do not accept any idea or belief that your body is less than what God created it to be. You change any diagnosis to a LIVINGnosis when you change your focus to full life, through you from God.

There is no finer way to work with medical professionals, than to have faith and belief that God is still Creating – and is restoring you in health.

Every hour of every day, you become more of what you were created to be – a radiant expression as a child of God.

Perhaps the greatest gift you can receive from God is wellness.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

It is decreed, in Jesus Christ’s name, that full God life of the Creator has come, and will come to you, continually. The full complete life of God misses nothing, and it touches all in you with its ever-renewing perfection. Every cell, organ, and tissue of your body is re-created by God under the Divine blueprint of perfection. You are energized with the energy of God. Your immune system is fortified with almighty power. No sickness can stand up to the power of God’s perfection. You woke up this day to experience full God health in mind, body, and soul.

Positive Christianity prays with you that every minute of this day health will increase and become manifest in you, in fullness.

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
1 John 4:8

Let us pray:

Whoever you are, wherever you are, God loves you. Never again will you need to feel alone. Never again will you feel unloved, misunderstood or unappreciated. You are now enfolded in God’s total love. You are lifted up. You are blessed through the love of God.

The great commandment of Jesus Christ is that we love God and that we love one another. At times this may seem difficult to do, or even impossibility. Though we may be unaware of it or unwilling to express it, within us – is the ability to love.

We consider now the words of the apostle John. We know and we believe the love God has for us. God is love and he or she who abides in love abides in God; and God abides in them.

Think about those words. Think about God abiding in you. And if God abides in you, God expresses through you. And now, in this moment, realize God can express through you as love.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

The human heart longs for love. It has been written that love is the principle of existence and its only end. You, dear friend, are blessed with a great capacity for love – for loving God and for loving God’s children. And you have the capacity to respond with warmth and affection to those who love you.

Jesus said, “The Father, Himself, loves you.’ Now, during this prayer time, you are able to open your heart as never before. You are able to open your entire life to the all-encompassing, boundless love of God. It flows into you and through you in a mighty, unending stream. You receive the love of God now. And you let it radiate from you in thought and feeling toward others – those near at hand and those far away.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

You pray for yourself and others that all abide in God’s love. Repeat aloud, “I ABIDE IN GOD’S LOVE.”

I feel God now. I feel love now. I am filled with God’s love. My body temple is a temple of the love of God. I feel the love of God in every cell of my being. I am a vessel for the love of God.

The love of God will radiate from me like a broadcasting station. Everyone who comes close to me will feel the love of God. And they will feel better for coming close to me. All those who come close will feel a change, even though they may not perceive what it is.

I pray that I radiate God’s love to all like the sunshine radiates its warmth.

Rest in the silence of prayer and prayerfully affirm that this is true right now for you.

Divine love never fails you. Divine love fulfills your every need. Divine love harmonizes the situations of your life. Divine love manifests itself in you as light and wisdom. It guides you in the ways of peace and joy. Diving love works through you to enrich you and expand your life. You attract the blessings you seek.

The Christ Spirit instructs and guides you in developing a spiritual consciousness of Divine love. Love is quickened in your heart. You express it in thought, in word and in your every act. You are forever set free from loneliness and depression. You are joyous because the love inside of you is joyous, and perfect Love casts out your fears.

Rest in the silence of prayer …

You have an attitude of expecting this. You have an attitude that draws to you people and experiences that will contribute fully to your life’s enrichment and happiness. God loves you. You joyously express God’s love. Your life is filled with meaning, goodness and companionship.

We have prayed, to become a sample of the Great Example – Jesus Christ: to follow Jesus Christ by living His teachings and becoming His teachings. Truly, spirituality is alive in us.

(Personal note – Today we honor in prayer those that lost their lives September 11, 2001.)

A couple of years ago, I visited the 9/11 memorial in New York City. It is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen – it literally will take your breath away.)

Give me a sentence about a public servant,” said a teacher. A small boy wrote: “The fireman came down the ladder pregnant.” The teacher took the lad aside to correct him. “Don’t you know what pregnant means?” she asked.

“Sure,” said the young boy confidently. “It means carrying a child.”

A grandmother was surprised by her 7-year-old grandson one morning. He had made her coffee. She drank what was the worst cup of coffee in her life.

When she got to the bottom, there were three of those little green army men in the cup. She said, “Honey, what are the army men doing in my coffee?” Her grandson said, “Grandma, it says on TV – ‘The best part of waking up is soldiers in your cup!”

Susie Sunshine asked her Sunday School class to draw pictures of their favorite Bible stories. She was puzzled by Jimmy’s picture which showed four people on an airplane, so she asked him which story it was meant to represent. “The flight to Egypt,” said Jimmy. “I see … and that must be Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus,” Ms. Susie said. “But who’s the fourth person?” “Oh, that’s Pontius the Pilot.”

A nursery schoolteacher was delivering a station wagon full of kids home one day when a fire truck zoomed past. Sitting in the front seat of the fire truck was a Dalmatian dog. Positive Daily Inspiration - December 9, 2022 - EVEN IN THOSE TIMES …

“I will comfort you.”
Isaiah 66:13

Even in those times when you cannot seem to understand the whys and wherefores of some experience, still you know that God is with you. You feel God’s loving presence and God’s peace which passes all understanding.

Even in those times when your world seems turned upside down and the way ahead unclear, still you know that God is with you. You feel God’s loving presence which strengthens you and guides your faltering steps.

Even in those times when you feel you cannot go on alone, still you are reminded that you are never alone, that, always, God is with you as your all-sustaining comfort and strength.

As you realize the presence of God with you, you have a new patience inside of you that knows the presence of God, and is assured that all things, in time, will work out in Divine order.

In Ecclesiastes 7:8, the Bible states, “Better is the end of the thing than its beginning; and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”

No experience can undermine your faith when you know that life is eternal, unending, and when you know that God is life and love and peace, and that you are eternally one with God. You are kept in the circle of God’s love; nothing can separate you from God. Knowing this, your spirits are lifted, your heart is comforted, and you are patient, as well as strengthened and sustained.

Even in those times when something is not going right, and if you tend to be impatient, always in a hurry, and easily upset with others and events, you do not have to give in to this tendency. You can overcome impatience and live in the comfort of God.

When you live in God you always know that no matter how things appear, everything, in time, will work out. Jesus said, “Do not look to appearances.” If we follow Jesus, we look to God instead of the temporal appearances before our eyes.

You overcome your tendency to look to appearances with worry and fear, by reminding yourself in the midst of irritation or frustration that all things are working together for good, according to Divine plan. God is in charge and all is well.

I realize how hard this is to do, sometimes, when something seems so overwhelming in the moment. But this is also the time that I encourage you to turn to God and to think about God instead of the problem.

Divine timing is at work in all things. You can be flexible regarding timetables and schedules. Delays or setbacks often serve a valuable purpose, although often it cannot be seen at the time. You look for the good and adopt a relaxed, trusting attitude toward the people and circumstances in your life. You know that God is with you, and God is always at work. You are comforted in this knowledge. You are patient in knowing that all things are working together for good under God’s wise direction.

Even in those times … you will feel God’s loving presence.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

Take time now to become quiet and relax for a few moments placing all in the hands of the One who created and loves you. Dear God, help me and show me the way. In everything, I trust You. I am assured every time I pray because I am spiritually renewed.

Thank You dear God.

In talking with people around the country, I have come to believe that releasing worry and anxiety is one of the major needs in today’s society. Worry and anxiety become the great block that walls us in our self-imposed prisons. Worry and anxiety become the great block that keeps us from our God-given good.

There is great importance in daily releasing negative feelings and letting go of the painful memories of the past. I ask you today to do just that – let God takeover.

God loves you. Through Divine love, you could release whatever may have happened in your childhood, the past year, yesterday, or even a moment ago. The greatest gift of God is new birth.

This happens every morning if we allow it. Through God, you are whole and free now.

The past can’t limit or defeat you. God is more powerful than your past. God is more powerful than your pain. Let God takeover.

Every person and circumstance in your life can be a blessing. With God’s help you can see every challenge as a turning point that helps you to learn and grow.

You are not stagnant. You are not here in this life experience to remain the same – and that even includes the release of carrying a heavy grudge for way too long.

Even the most difficult times can call on you to have a greater degree of understanding than you have ever had before. Where you cannot understand – God can. Let God takeover.

You rejoice in who you are. You know that you’re constantly changing and constantly evolving with God’s help. Where you cannot see the way – God can. Let God takeover.

Let go and let God! You can only be truly free when you learn to let go and let God.

You are God’s beloved child, unlimited and able to accomplish great things – because you do not hold onto the heavy things of old. Today, you give yourself a break – you let God takeover.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

I place myself in God’s care and keeping;
God’s presence guards and protects me,
God’s wisdom guides and directs me,
God’s life sustains and protects me,
God’s understanding inspires those who teach me,

Positive Daily Inspiration - December 7, 2022 - COME AWAY BY YOURSELVES AND REST

“Come away by yourselves … and rest awhile.”
Mark 6:31

Celebrating 23 years of service today!!!

Jesus said, “Come away by yourselves … and rest awhile.”

(Take a moment to do this, right now.)

Spend one minute going to God in silent prayer. Relax and become still. You direct relaxation into every part of your being. You know that if you are relaxed in mind, body, and emotions, you become a sensitive instrument through which God’s Spirit flows.

When you “Come away by yourself,” you do not have to move physically, unless you want you. You turn your attention away from the busyness of the day and the problems it contains and focuses on God. Resting in God, you find REAL relief, as well as an actual physical and mental recharge.

Your thoughts are centered in God. Your problems or needs, if they come to mind, you gently let them go and bring your attention back to God.

You rest in the realization of God’s healing presence and power. Any feeling of tension or strain is released. Negative emotions are cleared away by an infinite Divine love. You find that you are quickly in a peace of mind, body, and emotions.

Often, when I go apart for a while to pray, I will read my Bible. If you are in need of comfort, familiar passages from the Bible can help to soothe you.

If you are standing in some long line today waiting for a bargain, take a moment in prayer during this time.

The 23rd Psalm has always been a significant help for the people, throughout the ages, bringing the ever-new reminder:

“The Lord is my shepherd …
Thou art with me.
Thy rod and Thy staff,
they comfort me.”

I invite you to read this, sometime soon, when you come away by yourself and rest.

In Revelations 21:3-4, our Bible states, “God himself will be with them; God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Jesus gave many reassurances, “Peace, I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid,” His words bring great comfort!”

Always, the presence of God is with you. God gives you the courage to “walk through the valley of the shadow,” to keep faith in the life of God which is eternal, to turn again towards light and life, to enter back into life with a renewed spirit.

POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER:

I never miss the opportunity to pray, for in such practice I become wiser, healthier, and happier.

I take one minute right now to again, go to God.

In Jesus Christ’s name … Thank You, God!

Positive Daily Inspiration - December 6, 2022 - Tuesday Prayer and Meditation

“The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want … “
Psalms 21:1

As we close our eyes and still our thoughts, we are so very thankful; thankful from the bottom of our hearts for the presence of God in our lives. From the most ancient of times, God’s presence has blessed humankind. God is right here, and we have a spiritual encounter, right now through prayer.

With a growing awareness of God’s presence, we allow these words to be the prayer of our hearts. Loving God, thank You for breathing the breath of life into me and for blessing me with wisdom and peace.

In the stillness of prayer, we join our hearts with people who are praying with us. We are part of the continuous action of prayer. As we experience the words of this Psalm, let us join with those who have used it in the past and those who will continue use it to celebrate the presence of God.

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside still waters;
He restores my soul.
He leads me in right paths for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for You are with me.
Your rod and Your staff – they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.”
(Psalm 21:1-6)

Rest in the silence of prayer …

Thank You, God, for all that I am, for all I know, for all I have, and for all I will ever be. You are my light, my life, and my love. You are my all.

I fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff – they comfort me. Dear God, Your presence assures me that all is well in my world. You light my path. You smooth the way for me. When I feel afraid, Your presence assures me of Your love for me. Your love assures me that the challenge will pass. I fear no evil. You comfort me. Your presence is the true constant in my life and I am confident as I go about my daily activities.

In these moments of silence, I am at peace in Your presence. He leads me in right paths for His name’s sake. God, Your light shines so brilliantly within me. You show me the ways that are good for me; ways that lead my soul to new heights and happiness. You lead me in right paths. If I feel unsteady or unsure, I go within and You are there, gently leading me to right answers, bringing me fresh new insights, filling me with Your wisdom, and Your understanding.

I rest now in the silence of prayer, and I bask in Your holy light. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. Thank You, God, for the gift of life. Your life force heals me at the very core of my being. I am whole in my soul, in my emotions, in my body. Enthusiasm and energy are mine. Through Your life force within me, I am linked to all life on this beautiful planet. This planet of green pastures and still waters, and I am grateful.

I give thanks that the people I hold in prayer are also renewed by Your healing life. I feel Your life within me, now, in the silence of prayer … I shall not want. You prepare a table before me and my cup overflows. Thank You, God, for your love. Your love flows through my household, my community, my world. Through Your loving presence, I find the satisfaction of my soul and my cup overflows. The Lord is my shepherd. Dear God, You are all the world to me. You are all I want. You are all I need, and You are the wellspring of my soul.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.

Rest in the silence of prayer …
The light of God surrounds each one of us;
The love of God enfolds each one of us;
The power of God protects each one of us;
The presence of God watches over each one of us;
Wherever we are, God is with each one of us!

In the name and through the power of Jesus Christ … Amen.
